damnit...it has a career mode, i'm gonna have to check it out. Brings back memories of a WSOP adventure game where you flew to Las Vegas and had to make enough money to enter the main event, you could pawn your watch and plane ticket, and walk around the casino. They even had a bad audio grab of the "Shuffle up and deal" guy...

man was that a long time ago.

That is just ridiculous. I would have probably gotten this but now I may just wait for the WPT. How can you have a wsop game without Norman Chad. Thats like the WPT game not having Mike Sexton but it has Vince Van Patten. It diminishes the authenticity greatly imo. I must say I haven't heard anything about this game, there is just about zero info on it and now its delayed. I officially am doubting whether this game is worthy of a purchase.

A.I. isn't very smart. Who goes all in with pocket 3's when there's 3 over cards and 3 diamonds out there? Johnny Chan apprently. Maybe it was just a horrible attempt at a bluff or thought I was bluffing.

Wow this sucks, I was planning on picking it up tomorrow. There must be no conversation between the developers and Activision.

Activision: OK guys, lets start shipping the game out.
Developers: Umm.... we haven't even gone gold with the game yet.
Activision: So you won't have it done by 5?
Developers: Give us another 3 weeks.

I'm guessing that the other versions are gold, but the PSP version is not and they want to release them all at once (total stab in the dark)

I hope people with these console games won't do the dumb *** stuff people do online on PC wich I brought up in another topic but there's a new thing now. Why would you make a bet like 437 or 103 what the hell is that? Bet ending in a 5 or 0 not a 7. That just make things look messed up. No wonder they only play online.

For me, it's a tie between Stacked, and World Poker Tour.

hm... theres still the biggest concern: Where did you guys read about the A.I. in the games?

goh: yeah I play on pokerstars.net sometimes it's awesome when you get on a table with people that know what they are doing...

anyone know about the online offerings? Any of these do lots of sponsored tourneys on Xbox live? I'll probably get one that has good offline single player, but I know I wouldn't end up playing that as often, but it'd be cool if there was a game that had tourneys where you could win stuff.
