By the way, what systems is Superman Returns releasing on?
I wanted this game but reading some previews online and in mags, the game has taken a turn for the worse. I guess we will see how the final build has turned out soon.

JLA Heroes would have been sweet as a next gen release also.

Here is a great Superman site that has a hands on report about the game. They did have alot of videos of the game but had to temporarily take them down until they get approval from EA. http://supermanhomepage.com/movies/m...deogame-report

Thanks, this game sounds like it's much further along. I'll wait on reader reviews.

It's a licensed game, and made by EA, and horribly late. Doesn't sound like a good recipe for success. I'm willing to say that this game is guaranteed to suck and you should just focus on that Justice League game set to come out shortly.

So what if it's late? I don't see how that's predictive of quality.

I think that's a sign that the game isn't going to be rushed out just to capitalize on the hype. That quality actually matters to some extent.

That is possible, however it is also possible that EA's licensing agreement is about to expire and they are rushing it out to try and recoup some money from the venture.

How did EA do with the Batman Begins game?

This game was originally supposed to come out in May, then June, and finally pushed back to November, so I doubt their trying to rush this out.

Also it will come out along side the releases of all the Superman DVD's which come out Nov. 28. So the Superman hype will begin again so the game should get a sales boost because of that.

I see what you are saying, but I am confident that EA's rights to release the game expire upon the release of the DVD. So as of now they would be rushing it out. IIRC, Superman 64 was delayed time and time again before a similar licensing issue forced it to be released and well we know how that turned out.

I liked Batman Begins, it was a bit on the simple side, but it was fun while it lasted. I'm waiting for EG now to come along give me grief about movie licensed games. LOL!
