Yeah if a batman game was made like this where you could drive the batmobile around the city or use your grappleing gun to get around the city that would be tight!

Are you kidding? That's not what Batman's all about, IMHO. Batman's game would have to be far more 3rd-person stealth oriented a la Splinter Cell, I think. He has no superpowers, he gets by on his wits, and he's a detective. Not simply someone who chases criminals around and climbs buildings.

That's what I said! After the demo I was hopefully optimistic the game would be decent, with review scores in the 8 range.

Looks like the mechanics are in place, but the game does not take advantage of them. I hope it sells decent enough to warrant a sequel. Now that the groundwork is done, maybe the developer can concentrate on using Superman's powers for something other than fighting robots and dragons randomly.

yeah I understand where you are coming from I never said anything about him having powers, but if you where to make a game like Superman(huge open city) I think using the Batmobile and his gun to get around could be tight. He does, after all do that in the comics.

Dang is all I can say. I remembered that there was an article in Game Informer that said something about companies having to pay a penalty when their game scored horrible on the reviews across the board. So.....I guess EA isn't doing Superman again?! Anyone pick up this game??

GameInformer also had in one of their previews that the game was coming along very badly during the summer.
