I found about this deal after making my weekend rounds checking up on how many 360's each place was getting. Ending up with a pre-order, no camping out for me!





Bundle details:

Xbox 360 Premium system w/headset, wireless controller, and multimedia remote

Games: Kameo, Madden 06, and NBA Live 06

Extras: Wired controller

Total price: $609.95, I owe $559.95 when I go to pick it up on the 22nd.

Life Is good, no Line for me either

My store is getting 25 in, the guy said as soon as 25 are pre-orderd they will stop I'm like number 6 or somthing, I just happy no line waitng for me, I also stop by ebgames and got all my money I pre-ordered with them and it felt good. So I know I'll be playing on the 22nd, I took off work too that day.

It's funny how back in May everyone was like, nahhhh I'm going to wait and they didn't pre-order, now 3 weeks away...lol

Gift receipt = gift card = store credit.


Steve, you could use the wired controller on your PC. It uses a standard USB connection. MS will offer the driver to download if you need it, but I wouldn't be surprised if XP auto-detects it.

Niiiice bro, must be nice getting 25 in. The store here in Athens are only getting 4 for sure, though the guy I talked to when I went back said there could be more. He also said they'd have all the pre-orders in the back put away in the back, all you do is take that reciept/card to the cashier, and you're gold.

Oh, and I took the entire week off with pay.

Does TRU offer a extended warranty?

i remember hearing about a year ago, that they might be going out of business.

Yes, they offer extended warranties. In the price range of 39.99-49.99

And the TRU does alot of business, no fear in it going out of business I don't think.

It should be easy to get rid of Live for 2K6.
Just take it to Gamestop/EB/WalMart/Target/some other store and tell them some relative or your girlfriend or wife or whatever bought it for you and mistakenly got the wrong basketball game but lost the recpiet. That should work because it's really an easy mistake to make for someone that isn't into games. This will probably only work with similar games. If you try to get say Call of Duty for Tony Hawk that probably wouldn't work so well but maybe you could get Amped 3.

the guy tolf me today that the extended warranty is $59.99 there, so that a little high for me, and it' good for the one year. I really don't think I will get it. I think the system will be just fine, but who know. I just don't want to spend that $59.

Add me to the list, I was out Christmas shopping for my kids and saw the pre-order sign. I got the $609 bundle, I will probably pick up PGR3 and the recharge pack also. Man what a stress reliever.

sweet, it was funny yesterday i was telling myself I didn't want to wait on any line and I was like this sux, and today I'm saying I wish I could go to sleep and wake up on the 22

I love it. This happens everytime around a new launch and watch it get worse the week and the day before the launch. I wasnt even trying to fool myself this time. I knew I would want one and I preordered months ago.

Yeah, it's going to be pretty nice.

40 hours vacation, 8 hours holida (Thanksgiving), plus I'll have about 18 hours in to add to that. And alot of Xbox 360 gaming.
