I still might try to get one at best buy on the 22nd and then get a refund on the TRU bundle. Not thrilled with the hassle of having to unload those games or the wired controller. Still, it's nice to have the stress of getting the 360 gone...

I got the $609 bundle, and I;m happy I was going to get LIVE06 and Madden anyway, Kameo I will most likely sell on Ebay. As for the wirded controller I really don't mind it at all, I never have really anybosy at my house playing, so I don't mind. Plus that wired controller sells for $39.99, and when I get ny system It will brand new and I could sell it on ebay, and then take that money and put it tworads another wireless controller. Good luck on line at that best buy

Well, since I didn't feel like driving 90 miles today, I guess I'll just be praying that Ritzcamera comes through for me :y4:

I'm not sure what to think at this point in time, but I'm hopeful that they'll get enough allocations to cover my order.

I'll probaby drive up to ToysRus tomorrow and see what's going on w/ the preorders. Maybe I'll get lucky and get one.

Just picked up a TRU pre-order, today. Ahhhh, it feels good knowing I will have a 360 at launch. My Gamestop is only getting 18-25 and I'm definitly not that high on the list. I'll be getting my money back, tomorrow.

just preordered mine for $609 as well. i was told, as long as i don't take the shrink wrapping off the games, i could trade them in for any game i want. I WAS ADAMANT ABOUT MAKING SURE THIS WAS TRUE AND SHE SAID IT WAS... FOR SURE. She was the store manager and said there definately won't be a problem with this at all.

Yeah I still have my order from Ritzcamera also... But I really dont think that they will be sending the system for us to get on release date... I need to be playing on release date thats why I went to get the TRU bundle...

I will still keep my ritz order and maybe sell it on Ebay, or have my Pops buy it from me for my little brothers...

Does anyone know how your TRU is handling the launch day. It sounded like my store was only getting enough to cover the bundles, but he wasnt sure. Also, he might be having a seperate line for the preorder bundles and have them paid and picked up at a different register thanthe first come/first serve people. I hope its organized, never dealt with TRU on launch day before.

I don't think there will be any first come first serve at TRU now that they had pre-orders for bundles.

All I do when I go there on the 22nd is go straight to the register and give the cashier my card/reciept. I pay her, and they meet me at the door with my console, games, etc all packaged in a bag. Thats what I was told last night when I went back to check on things.

Dang, my Toys R Us only has 4 bundles left as of tonight. I'm calling when they open in the morning, and take a 90 mile drive to make sure that I get one on launch day. This is sad :y4:

She also said they will only have enough to cover the pre-ordered bundles, so NO one will be able to just waltz in there and pick up the console w/o having it preordered.

I just called Ritz, and they got their allocations as well. I'm on the first shipment 100% sure...

I guess I'll trust them and just wait it off. If I don't get it at launch, I'll be upset, but life goes on.

Yeah they told me that I was on the 1st shipment as well, but they assured me of this when I placed my order 2 months ago... But I have to be sure I get it on Release day...

Also I will never ever ever give my brothers a Christmas present that costs $400+, not even $200..
