I called and was told games are individually packaged, so you still can sell them or trade them somewhere else, just not at TRU. Can you say Wal Mart, EB Games/Target if you know what I mean

The guy at my Toys R Us said the games will be packaged differently because they're in the bundle and they won't be returnable. Anyone ask and get a different responst. I'm not sure I want any of those games and to spend another 120 bucks on games I actually want makes this a pretty steep purchace. Not sure what to do...

all you have to do is seel the games on Ebay. I think everyone one want's Madden. I know I do and I want to give Live a shot too, as for Kameo, I think I'm selling it on ebay, it's just don't think it's my type of game. For me $609 is the best bundle price out there that I have seen. I'm very much happy with my purchase.

Thanks for the heads up, gang. I read this thread last night and headed to my local TRU this morning, where I secured their last guaranteed 360 bundle with the 3 games. Good lookin' out!

I was told they'd be individually wrapped. He said I could take NBA Live 06 to Wal-Mart, or EB/GameStop and probably trade it. The guy last night also said they MIGHT let me do it there. Won't believe that til it happens.

Yeah thats what my TRU is saying... They say it comes in a specially marked package... But who knows until it comes.... I think I will just go and trade Kameo in at EB, if TRU doesn't allow me to switch to NBA 2k6...

Ohhh BTW I put my $50 down this morning and they still had about 20 of the $609 bundles left...

I was kinda upset that I could not pay it all off right then and there..

thanks for the heads up . im going to head out to my tru as soon as it opens . hopefully ill be able to get a preorder. i have first shipment preorder at gamestop but if these things are going to sell like hotcakes , i might as well try to make a profit.

1st - big props to Sully for letting us know about this deal over on DSP!

2nd - If you're in the Tampa Bay area, the TRU on Fowler Avenue just started selling these today. There are literally STACKS of pre-order cards available.

This is great for me to have heard about and taken advantage of. My Gamestop informed me the other day that they aren't getting ANY preorders until 2nd shipment, so my preorder there is essentially garbage.

I wouldn't say stacks, because from everyone who did pre-order from TRU said that there stores didn't have many pre-orders to begin with. MY TRU has 25 wich is a a lot compared to other stores, but when you say stacks, thats making people believe that TRU has like 100, and that is not the case.

True - to clarify, I'd honestly say about 25 cards left in each bundle (ie the 3 game bundle and the 6 game bundle). I must admit that there were a LOT more left than I was expecting at this point. When I called around last night, NO ONE at any TRU seemed to have heard of what I was asking. All I can say to anyone still looking in my neck of the woods is go NOW - especially during the Bucs game when most people are at home!

last night when i caleld they said that they hadn't started selling preorders.

i call this morning and they say that they've sold so many that they think they'll be short.

Just reserved mine...My store had 12 and there were six left when I got there. The guy who processed my order had no idea what he was doing and didn't print something out that he was supposed to give me apperently. So some manager had to sign my card. Better not become a hassle when I go to collect...

I still might try to get one at best buy on the 22nd and then get a refund on the TRU bundle. Not thrilled with the hassle of having to unload those games or the wired controller. Still, it's nice to have the stress of getting the 360 gone...
