Yeah they told me that I was on the 1st shipment as well, but they assured me of this when I placed my order 2 months ago... But I have to be sure I get it on Release day...

Also I will never ever ever give my brothers a Christmas present that costs $400+, not even $200..

Yeah, but they have received their allocation numbers now. That's the only reason I think it's significant. I really hope they aren't messing around with me. I guess it's getting to me not having a game system now.

Tell me about it. I had not planned to sell my xbox until next week. Now that I've already put it up for sale, Gamestop better not jerk me around. I think I can manage, i'll pretty much only be without a console for 1 week.

It shouldn't be too hard for you brother, I've been without mine for almost a month now, and although the temporary withdrawal period of about 2-3 days was horrific, I'm doing alright now. I've actually been more productive around the house :y4:

I signed up for the $609 bundle @ Toys R Us Today. The guys there told me I was still not guaranteed that day or anything. Ugh. So I will be in line @ WalMart / Target. If I get one there not bundled I will just return my Toys R Us Bundle preorder.

You are the first person that I heard say that they were told it was not guaranteed on 11-22. My TRU only sold 8 pre-orders, just to make sure that they were not pulling a EB or Gamestop Fiasco I kept calling and asking if they were selling pre-orders and everyone I talked to said they had sold all 8 pre-orders, so I feel pretty good about my reserve

I signed up for the $609 bundle @ Toys R Us Today. The guys there told me I was still not guaranteed that day or anything. Ugh. So I will be in line @ WalMart / Target. If I get one there not bundled I will just return my Toys R Us Bundle preorder.

I signed up for the $609 bundle @ Toys R Us Today. The guys there told me I was still not guaranteed that day or anything. Ugh. So I will be in line @ WalMart / Target. If I get one there not bundled I will just return my Toys R Us Bundle preorder.

If I were you I would go to a different TRU, Because everyone who PreOrdered from TRU IS Guaranteed one... The cards they have represent the number that they are getting...

TRU told me that I was guarenteed to get it on the Launch day by preordering. I'm still a little bit anxious that I wont get it and wont be completely comfortable until it's the 22nd and I am playing 360...

I got the $609 bundle at my TRU today. Store was only doing 8 preorders and I was number 5. They said that they would be getting systems other than the preorders as well.

This is also what I was told, therefore it would be impossible to oversell because you need the little card that goes with your receipt.

If I were you I would go to a different TRU, Because everyone who PreOrdered from TRU IS Guaranteed one... The cards they have represent the number that they are getting...

I am hoping the employee was just wrong. After he told me that he went to the parking lot to push carts. Now, nothing against cart pushers, I used to make pizzas, but I am not sure he knew that much about electronics. I'll call back later on and ask someone else.

And going to a different TRU. Ha, not one within 2 hours.

Did they give you the card with your receipt? Honestly I don't think you have anything to worry about
