I'd imagine that the Costco's, Sam's Club's, and BJ's won't generate too much of a line. I've made up my mind that I will go to Walmart around 8pm on the 21st. I was told to go to customer service, and they'll be handing out tickets. I'm hoping I can get the ticket at 8pm, and come back at midnight to pick it up. We'll see. If that doesn't work, I still have my TRU bundle, although it comes with 2 games I don't want.

I know my BJ's wont be getting in 360's.

That's what I'm thinking. I don't think Sam's Club will have too much of a line. Especially with me being able to get in at 7, earlier than most everyone else.

Am I stupid for risking it at Sam's just to get the extra controller and the plug-and-plays for 50 bucks when I know I can get a system at WalMart the night before? I've got a friend on the inside who is hooking me up with a number even before they start handing them out. Should I just be content with that?

I would love to get some more information from anyone on here that may know more then I about how pre-ordering through Circuit City works. I tried calling them and the employee told me they werent even getting their systems until the 22nd which sounds like total bs, and I cant seem to find any answer as to whether or not you can pick the system up in store after preordering it Friday and if not then can you still purchase the warranty when purchasing through circuitcity.com? To top it off the store doesnt have a clue how many they are getting and I hate to put all my eggs in one basket so to speak. Any help would be much appreciated.

Does anyone know if Microsoft is offering an extended warranty of any kind?Toys R us is offering one, but I think it's 59.99 for a year.

thats what I wanna know, I used that 2 year warranty microsoft always offered in the box of the xbox. It was only $50 too. I not sure if I should get the TRU warranty myself, still thinking.

I'll more than likely get the TRU warranty, I like the peace of mind knowing that if anything at all happens I can just take it back.

Nah. I may pick it up later on though. I'm gonna use batteries first and see how long they last me.

I ordered it all ready and yes it worth no doubt, it's basicly a must buy in my opinion. It's only $20 and it chargs while you play, I mean what more can you want.

Just to let you know the battery comes with the kit,.

No it doesn't. There is no recharge unit at all that comes with the premium system.
Now a few bundles come with it, but not the regular 399.99 system.
