Re: Playstation 3 Information, hardware, games discussion Part II
They are all probably a bunch of broke MF'ers.
I am glad to say I only have my debit card, I have not one credit card.Comment

As for the PS3, they are selling it at a loss so I know you are getting a good deal when looking at all the stuff they jammed in there. But its too high a price for the average gamer imo.Comment

Re: Playstation 3 Information, hardware, games discussion Part II
I dont call 600 + for a game console a good deal. Especially for the people who dont even want all of that.
I dont think there are a high number of kids running around talking technical specs of HDTV's they dont have, when all they want one for is the gamesComment

Same, we have one card that earns us points towards Carnival cruises. We pay it off monthly, have a very high limit, and keep it mostly empty. Oct-Dec it gets a balance due to Xmas, but when my bonus comes, bye bye balance. (and when I say balance, I'm talking 500-1000 at the most)Comment

i always keep one card for emergencies and for the holidays, and pay it off monthly or when i get my holiday bonus at work. one thing i do and it builds up a lot of credit, but good credit mind you, is this: i get a new card and close accounts all the time when they have zero balances, really only keeping one account "open" at a time. also this helps avoid interest charges, for instance right now i have a capital one card which has 0% interest until june '07, i am using that for christmas this year and i'll pay it off easily by june and close the account, get another card with a promotion, repeat. sorry for the long post, and actually it is irrevelant to the ps3, so back on topic, i used the above mentioned card to pay in full for my ps3 preorder at ebgames this morning....Comment

My wife and I have two credit cards, an American Express Blue which we get points on, and the American Express True Earnings card from Costco which gets us 3% cash back at restaurants, and 1% cash back everywhere else. We pay the balances off every month, and enjoy free money.Comment
