I've said many times, I fully believe the system will be out the first week of November.Comment

Re: Playstation 3 Information, hardware, games discussion Part II
Originally posted by APOCI'm guessing Gameshout isn't a credible source of info here. I didn't know. This article was actually linked from the PS3 forums. Hmm, maybe it doesn't hold much truth then. Yeah, but I still believe the PS3 will launch in the states in fall sometime as well.DON'T PANICComment

Gameshout just reported what a lot of major news sites did, except their 3 days late. I do find it funny that they make it sound like they had the scoop.

Re: Playstation 3 Information, hardware, games discussion Part II
Did we expect anything else from Sony?
I am a HUGE fan on the Playstation consoles, but this is getting to be nonsense. Sony needs to give concrete information about their system. No more of this,"oh those reports are wrong. everything is going as scheduled." If that is true and I am not saying it isn't, why doesn't Sony at least give us a timeline. And by timeline I mean which month not which season.
If Sony is set on releasing the PS3 this Spring, they have a very funny way of going about it.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Playstation 3 Information, hardware, games discussion Part II
If it was coming out in the Spring, which officially begings and ends on June 21st wouldn't they be taking pre-orders by now, start adding to hype with commercials, etc. There is no way it comes out this Spring. In fact, my gut is telling me that if it does come out at Christmas, there will be massive shortages. I don't see the masses getting their hands on this for at least 1 year from today. I own a PS2 and have never owned an Xbox, but I must say the Xbox 360 will be an awful tempting holiday purchase this year if it has a good line of games established at that point, and I don't think I'm alone.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment

fistofrage... the 360 games that are coming down the pipeline right now are worth the purchase if you are just wanting some next gen gaming. I just finished watching some trailers of 3N, and GRAW, and I must say that I'm blown away. I can't wait.
Of course, I'll get the PS3 as well when it drops in price a little... but right now, I'm having a blast with the 360, and come next month, it'll be that much better.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: Playstation 3 Information, hardware, games discussion Part II
Originally posted by fistofrageYeah, my wife and I had a baby in August, and I have to finish my masters degree this fall, plus with summer just around the corner, I won't have a whole lot of time for gaming. But a next gen system is going to be my Christmas/graduation gift, and I am not going to wait to for Sony if its not out. I must say, I was a Sony guy, but the Xbox 360 looks good enough for me, especially if you guys say the fall sports lineup is up to snuff.
I would go with the 360 IMO. I am going to wait myself till the PS3 drops in price in a few years unless it's a nice price point that I could afford.Comment

Originally posted by APOCIt won't be out in spring here, only Japan. It looks like Sony is going with same launch formula as the PS1 and PS2. Spring in Japan, Fall in the states.Comment
