Oh. Sony might mess around and let MS win this war if they keep messing around. My guy already told me yesterday that he wont get the PS3 because of the price and go for the Revolution instead. And he was holding out for a PS3. Sony needs to get their act together. There a plenty of ppl who may be able to afford this machine but there is also plenty of ppl who, no way in hell will be able to afford it.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Sony has their act together. A delay is good. It means they are working on it and making it a better product. I think the last thing they want to do is rush it out and go through what Microsoft is currently experiencing. If/when Sony announces a delay, I'm sure they'll state why and people will realize it's for the best.Comment

Making it a better product? HA. I'm sure they'd rush it out the gate if given the chance. Experiencing launch problems is inevitable. From the looks of it, they're experiencing problems tryna firgure out how to not lose so much money with the hardware. I would'nt be suprised if they wait till the hardware is cheaper to manufacture to release the PS3. They'll continue to play mind games in the meantime.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

It'll be interesting to see what Sony does with their delays and price.
It's smart to hold the system back until it's fully ready and plentiful, but despite the Xbox 360's horribly botched launch, if they get nearly a full calendar year of lead time, and come in far cheaper, it could create some headaches for Sony.
The PS3 will be a more powerful piece of hardware - I have no doubts about that - but the two systems are still same-gen in terms of technology.
I just want good games, and I want a battle royale between the two companies so consumers get the best of both worlds.Shawn Drotar
