It's a freakin' joke that someone will wait 5 years to buy a console, ignore the fact that there is a 5 year library of games to play for the system, and then complain, "Where are all the new games?"

Look, if you just got around to getting an Xbox now, after the new console is released, you need to realiize you're mostly going to be buying games that were released over the last 5 years and there isn't going to be much of a future for the console. You'd think there were NO new games coming out for the Xbox. I was actually surprised to see how many more games are being released. What the hell is the expectation here? You buy a 5 year old console when it's next generation is already out and think you're going to be getting another 2-3 years of *new* games?! Gimme a break. You waited, the benefit is you got one cheap, there are TONS of cheap games for you to buy and catch up on. If you want NEW games, buy the NEW console.

Sorry if I missed it, but who "just got around to buying an Xbox now?"

just make the damn systems easily available and i think more people would have them.

i have yet to see one in a store on a shelf. the so called "popularity" or lack of supply trick isnt working very well. get it together MS.

if it were easy to buy there would be no worry about the abandoment because the newer games will blow the others out of the water via graphics and controls. but if noone can obtain it, than theyll continue with regular xbox and theyll be swayed to buy a different brand
