I'm playing through on casual first, trying to get the hang of this and used to taking cover rather than charging in all gung ho.

The enemies take alot of damage and you dont.
The cover system is pretty cool, and the enemy just pins you down and overwhelms you with numbers.

There is no onscreen life meter and pretty much 2-3 hits from the computer and your dead.

i dont know... i tried playing it by myself, and it just wasnt "fun"....

i hooked up some split screen co-op, and while it was better, it seems to get repetive quickly...

the cover system is cool, but i think rainbow six is better in terms of how they do cover....

havent touched XBL, so that may rock, but the main game just seems to lack something in my opinion....

ive only given it about an hour and half, so i may love it with more time, but i would be lying to you if i said i wasnt looking forward to tomorrow morning when i can get my hands on COD3

i'm refusing to fall into the hype. i know i'm not personally big on sci-fi genre, and after being dissapointed by Halo 2 i'm waiting until i can get this from gamefly or gameznflix.

all I how to say is wow, This game kicks major @ss, I mean major @ss, This game is action, action, action, Imean from the minute you start the minute you. The game is a thing of beauty, I mean the controls are a little tricky, but in 10 minutes I got the hang of it and all I been saying to myself is "OH YEAH", you will here that a lot. The graphis are a thing of beauty, I mean beauty, to sum it up, this game rocks, and I very impressed, great game 10 in my book. The graphics are the best I have seen in a game to date, now that I gave GOW a rest, I'm off to play COD3...

I been playing almost an hour, and just died. I go back to my last save, but how in the heck do I save so I can quit? I'm not seeing a save option anywhere, unless its at the beginning/end of a mission?

I was thinking the same thing. If you don't take cover, you WILL die. It's very repetitive.

My guess is that when you quit you'll just restart from your checkpoint.

I have just been extorted!!!

The clerk at GS told me in order to buy the game, I needed to reserve a future release, which I did.

Now let's see what all this hype is about.
