I'd like to play the co-op online, but that's about it.

They probably will, but if past experiences are any indicator, I'll tire of it quickly. The multiplayer modes are lacking when compared to recent and upcoming releases. That's acceptable because MS is hyping this game for its single player campaign.

If I have the choice between this, SC: DA, R6, and CoD3 on a Saturday night...well, I'm not sure GoW is even part of the discussion.

I can see that Sully, but SC has one mode online.

If I wasn't interstead in the 4 on 4 multiplayer, I wouldn't even get the game...Figure it would be a waste.

True, SC has only one mode for adversarial play, but it's the unique nature of that mode that makes it so appealing. GoW isn't doing anything with the multiplayer that we haven't seen before.

YES!!! The reviews are in and any complaints are minor. I can't wait to dig into this game. Man, I wish I could get it, today.

I agree that the multiplayer is lacking. It would have been nice to see more than 2 doing co-op. After that, it's basic deathmatch, something that gets boring after a few times.

I suppose it's all about preference. I'm more into the Ubisoft titles because of the online co-op. I haven't played COD2, but if I had my choice, after playing the R6 demo, it's definately R6.

Good point. I can defiantly see where your coming from. I listed a few concerns I had a few posts back and game modes was one of those conerns. I do think the game will be a blast though.

I think Gears multi looks fun. It won't be the multiplayer game of choice, but the play mechanics should make it a nice change of pace from the other shooters. Besides, as has been mentioned, this game was developed with single/co-op campaign as the primary focus.

Which is a joke since you can only use two people and not four.

I think that allowing two people to do campaign mode is stupid. I don't really play FPS for solo play and the only way I would probably go through the campaign mode is if I had others to do it with, limiting to two players and not four is a bad move .
