I'm surprised a company would release a exclusive violent FPS on the Revolution.

Based on the information that has been released, this game looks really good. The rev controller is perfect for a game such as this.

The game is a launch title.
It's 100% real in game stuff because a UbiSoft employee (confirmed by IGN) posting on the IGN boards said it's real!

Looks really good! But the write-up about the controls are absolutely amazing!

I hope Nintendo keep the name as 'Revolution' because it fits and in a year or so could make playing games with regular controllers seem very plain and old.

I am so hyped for this console!!

You and me both. Innovative controller and is not going to cost an arm and a leg to buy. I also do not have to go out and buy a new TV as well.

Revolution is a cool name and it does fit what they hope people will think they are doing but really how is the controller any different from the vr stuff at arcades? It's not like this is new technology or something.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

It's different because we haven't really had anything like this in console form.

That screenshot, visually, does not look much more impressive than RE4 so I have no doubt it is real. Not that I have a problem with that as RE4 is a fantastic looking game and always will be. The graphics power of this thing isn't scaring me at all. Nintendo always seems to find a way to get the most out of their consoles, from a visual standpoint, and I'm sure they'll find ways to wow the gaming audience.

The VR stuff at arcades has always been sloppily implemented and never on the scale of what Nintendo hopes to achieve. The games usually rely soley on the gimmick as well. It's quite possible that developers could drop the ball here and make similar junk for the Revolution but right now there is a lot to like here, especially with Nintendo at helm.

Actually they weren`t the 'FIRST' to make D-pads. I remember the old intellivision controller from the 80s had a D-pad. But I suppose it did become a popular gaming standard when the NES came out.

Matt from IGN Revolution says Metroid Prime 3 will be playable at E3.

Red Steel should be playable too.

glad to see I'm not the only one pumped about Red Steel.... it's playable at E3 supposedly... Could Nintendo be the talk of E3 this year? Microsoft has to step it up, with Nintendo and Sony releasing their consoles soon, this could be a very interesting E3... Personally I can't wait!

Edit... LOL, I just saw where Flawless just posted all I said about Red Steel oh well... Guess I should read more closely...LOL

I bet the Revolution makes the biggest splash amongst the videogame media at E3, but the general public will still care more about the PS3 and 360.

If Metroid and Red Wall are truly playable, I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo generates a large buzz.

If the new controller is all it's cracked up to be it warrants it.
