Supposedly, The Revolution will take the console lead in 2010. How in the hell or on earth do these analyst come up with these thoughts and ideas on picking things in this industry? I mean, I didn't read the whole article cause I'm getting back to COD 2 (FANTASTIC GAME ON A FANTASTIC CONSOLE). I'm getting really irritated with the assumptions by these different analyst. Maybe there's some truth to it, but nobody in the industry is a freaking psychic.......

Re: Nintendo Revolution Information, hardware, games discussion

If they keep the price reasonable($299 with Zelda is my max), I'll consider it. Otherwise it's just a rip-off like any other console launch.

Playing classics on one box has my attention for sure. Again, keep the prices reasonable because I own a lot of these on the original systems. I don't think they should mess with the older titles, they stand the test of time just fine for the most part.

However, this concept is being implemented, just differently, with the DS. It doesn't automatically make games better. This can create a lot of shallow games that can't get past the "tech demo" label.

On the same token there is a defenite problem with many games/genre getting stale. I give Nintendo the benefit of the doubt simply because they have the greatest game profile around. This is why I'll consider it if the software is right.

As far as price/power goes, nintendo should hit a nice balance. Sony and MS will be losing cash on their powerhouses for years, Nintendo won't have this issue. While the graphics may not blow people away, nintendo never claimed they would. there idea of next-gen is much different then Sony/MS's.

I been told that no Nintendo console has ever been priced over $199 and that includes the N64 and Game Cube. Can someone confirm this?

No Nintendo console has been over $199 in present day dollars. The original NES was over $300 in 2006 dollars.

Thats pretty crazy, though I have no desire to roll the controller along the ground as that will just get annoying.

I don't think you would literally roll the controller on the ground, just make the motion of doing so.

I have a hard time believing this is a in-game screenshot:

                                http://www.flickr.com/photos/elmoco/124806830/

I'm surprised a company would release a exclusive violent FPS on the Revolution.

Based on the information that has been released, this game looks really good. The rev controller is perfect for a game such as this.

The game is a launch title.
