Re: Nintendo Wii Information, hardware, games discussion
I'm almost sold on a Wii for my daughter for Christmas. I mentioned it to my wife, but she thought I was joking. My daughter will turn 7 next year, and enjoys playing my old Xbox a great deal.
I've not been keeping up with the Wii, can you guys list some kiddie games?
The Wii Sports look like alot of fun, so does the old style Duckhunt.
Does anyone know if we'll be able to play the old N64 wrestling games on this bad boy?Comment

Of course, she needs Zelda, Trauma Center, and Red Steel, you can show her how to play those...
Eventually, yes, you should be able to.Comment

All signs point to me getting one at or around launch for Christmas. The Wii just looks like the perfect family console, much like the NES was back in the mid 80's when I was young.Comment

Yeah, I just saw Monkey Ball and Rayman. Rayman looks like alot of fun, I also saw a few other kiddie games that were being released at launch. And IGN said they were easy to control.

I got a few more questions, ofcourse the Wii doesn't come with component cables, so how much are they going to run? Controllers look wireless, any recharge kit? No biggie since I have a dozen rechargable AA's and a quick charger from Energizer.Comment

Man would i snatch this thing up if i had some extra money.
How cool is it that they are handing out "Nintendo Sports" for free. Granite they arent really pro sports with pro teams it looks like tons of fun..
I think your daughter would have a blast Holic swinging the baseball bat with the controller and everything.Comment
