    I read somewhere that they were 19.99, some preview...LOL

    But still, 29.99 isn't bad.

        True. But an extra Wiimote and nunchuk controller combo is $60. It's a must since the Wii appears to be such a good multiplayer party console, and the system includes only one Wiimote-nunchuk combo.

        So bank on that Wii costing you $310, not $250.

        Take care,

            Very true, which isn't too bad, throw in the component cables, and you're pushing the $350 mark.

              I'm looking at:

              Wii = $249
              Retro Controller = $20
              Component Cables = $30
              Trauma Center = $50
              Zelda = $50
              SD Memory Card = $30
              Rogue Squadron III (GC) = ?
              --------------------------

                Is the SD memory card necessary for 1-3 games? Either way, I'm hoping I can get my Wii at Wal-Mart since I can get 10% off, so that'll buy me a classic controller.

                  I'll be getting the Wii, wiimote and nunchuk, Zelda, and Madden so 410, with 50 of it already paid. I can't wait for this thing, though I'm not quite as eager as Cartman at this point.

                    If there was a Mario launching with the Wii, I would have really wanted one at launch. If I can't get one right away than that's cool, GOW will be keeping my busy.

                      No, it has plenty of space on the console itself.

                        I may hold off on the SD card for a few weeks if that's the case.

                          So what's the deal? Are these things going to be as hard to come by as the 360s were last year. I have no interest in camping out or going on a wild goose chase. When do you guys think you'll be able to just walk into a store and pick one up?

                            At one point I believed it would be easy to find, I don't anymore. After watching people camp out at EB and TRU, and Walmart's online presale going in minutes, this thing is going to be a hot item. I hope I'm wrong for the people who want to get one, but I really think it's going to be more difficult to find than people think.

                              Order online and you should get one.
