WOW! I hate to say this, but I'm a bit impressed with the controller even though I've been against it since it was announced. This is turning out more than an advanced XBOX 1 with a gimmick controller. I'm not 100% sold yet, but Zelda, GC BC, and the retro downloads are calling my name + my friend DXZeke keeps on trying to persuade me into buying one.

Yeah..even though I'm a diehard sports gamer and love my HDTV graphics, I can't still get over how much I'm dying to play Zelda, Red Steel and Wii Sports. I just hope I can hope with the righthanded setup of the Wiimote..they need some southpaw developers!

I'd be willing to bet that they have settings more suitable for leftys as is the case with most DS games.

I'm just waiting to hear word on pre-orders. Once I can pre-order one I probably will. I have the money so, why not? I feel pretty safe with a Nintendo launch console (as in, it won't break down), despite the new controller.

I called 2 Gamestops and Friday appears to be the pre-order day. I was told if I prepay for 1 Wii game than they will call me the day before pre-orders start.

Scott, I'm really considering getting one man. I'm still on the fence with that controller, but if I don't like the controller after playing games with it, than I'm hoping that I can use the regular controller. There are games that I want to play on here like Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Excite Truck, and Trauma Center (the controller should be fun with this game).

Games like Zelda and Mario I can't see using the nunchucks for, but for Trauma Center and Excite Truck it looks natural.

There is no regular controller, just an old school NES one. It's the motion or nothing

But you wouldn't have called 2 Gamestop's if you weren't going to preorder one

Oh yeah As they say feed the addicition. Heck I said I wasn't going to buy one and my bud set me up and i'm first on the list.

Of course i'm only doing it as a service for all those Sony loyal fans who won't have a PS3 for Christmas. Thank You ebay

Man just think if I can sell my PS3 on ebay for the crazy money they're already asking i'll have enough money for a Wii, another PS3 and a case of Intercoolers for my 360.

Another launch game missing if Nintendo vets remember, is a Lucas Arts, Star Wars title. With the N64 we had Shadows of the Empire, the Gamecube we had Rogue Squadron II, and where is a Wii Star Wars launch title? Since I never played Rogue Squadron III, I'll pick that up on launch and pretend it was a lunch title. LOL!

I think my wife wants Trauma Center and Excitetruck, I'll probably have her pick me up Zelda, and play those on Xmas.

With so many 360 games coming, trying to be more cautious on what I purchase, especially with the start of Xmas shopping beginning.

Since we don't use credit cards, it can get tight...LOL

I know what you mean. I tore up my credit cards 5 years ago and will never use them again.
