Yea i would also like to know if theres a diff between this and the transfer kit. Just picked up NCAA2k6 and i'm wondering if i get this new device, would I still able to grab the name file like guys did with their transfer kit

I like the option about being able to email saves via LIVE. This is one thing that is intriguing about this thing.

You can't transfer your saves via Live with this. Nor does it say so in the description. Re-read it man.
It uses the same Xplorer 360 software that the Transfer Kit does.

This is what it said in the article:

"Once the data is on your PC, you can email anything that’s not locked to your machine or L!VE account to your friends for them to use on their own consoles too. "

You can transfer saves from PC via email to LIVE account. Unless I misunderstood something here.

Yeah, you can email stuff that's not locked to your machine or your Live account.

Arcade games, profile pictures, themes are all locked to your Live account.

Some game saves are locked to your machine only.

Thought about it while I was getting a cd-player installed into the family van. I'm keeping my TK cause it's so easy to do and really seems to be the product of choice on here. How many of ya'll use the Xplorer 360 software compared to the Xchange 360 software? That's basically what matters. It sure does look nice though, gotta admit.

so here is my question i haven't been keeping up on the xchange 360...does the xsata use diff software than the xchange 360? and will this be able to tranfer rosters and/or other saves from the net? this all i will need either device for.

appears to be the same software. that xplorer 360 program.
