My BIGGEST concern is what are we as a community going to be using for NCAA rosters? I have the Datel, but it's unopened and still haven't bought a memory card. If everyone is going to gravitate to this one I'd gladly return my datel and not bother buying a memory card.

that was my question too and no one answered it. are these devices just a generic way of porting any file we want from one to the other like a computer hard drive, it doesn't matter if you get fujitsu or hitachi, a file is a file is a file....*OR* is it like on the xbox where if i had a max drive i had to get my rosters from someone else who had the max drive and if all there was available was an action replay file then i was just out of luck.

anyone know?? i'm thinking it probably don't matter but if it does i and others here need to know so we can get to buying what we need. if you wait until on or around the games release you won't be able to find the devices anywhere as we all know.

I have the Datel transfer kit and bought the xbox360 memory card. I'm currently using Fkings rosters, downloaded from this site, for College Hoops 2K6 without a problem.

The game saves are the same so it doesnt matter which device you use.

so let me get this straight... not only can u use this to transfer original xbox saves to the 360 hassle free, but u can use it as a transfer kit also rite? if so, thats all i need then for ncaa, all other sports games, we9, etc... if this is it, its great especially since the transfer kit is 14.99 plus 49.99 for the memory card cdn, when i can get this for 49.99 american plus shipping, unless someone from buffalo can confirm their bestbuy or sumwhere else has this so that i can drive there and pick it up

Well, according to UPS's website, I should be getting mine today. So now I'll be able to use Winning Eleven option files on my 360! Woohoo!

I would also really like to know this. I am moving to Maine in September so maybe I can hold off but the thought of manualling doing the NCAA rosters this season is daunting.

If I get the regular transfer kit + memory card, can I upload the file through the memory card to the XBox then just return the memory card or do I need to have the memory card to run the roster file? (for NCAA 2007). I'm not too thrilled about having to spend another 45 bucks just to get rosters then never use the card again.

Are you going to pickup Madden or any of the sports titles in the Fall? It's not a waste than if you are going to use it again in a few months.

I bought mine when it first released, used it twice and that was it. I don't regret it as I know next week I'll use it + Madden next month and then the Basketball games in the fall.
