I just look at it like this. At launch, you're not going to get much to justify spending that type money at launch. It's not going to too much different from what you have now. Now with the Wii, clearly it's going to a whole different animal. I think most fence sitters are mainly people that like to have the latest, greatest, newest, technology first. I'm the same way but I won't be sucked in to getting a PS3 at launch though I probably could. I was just telling my wife about the price of the new PS3. She asked if I was getting it. I said, probably not at launch. She was surprised. I could get one if I really wanted one, but I'd rather put $800 somewhere else until a PS3 purchase can be justified.
I'm not really flip flopping, I'm trying to justify buying a PS3 the $500 or $600 version even though it will have the same games as the 360 except for exclusives or do I want to get a Wii. I'm more impressed by what the Wii has to offer than the PS3. It's that $500-$600 price tag that is really killing it for me and making it difficult to want to spend that kind of money.
, It's just crazy latley, I just haven't had time to evev play anything, I been so busy. So I'm not getting wrapped up in the whole Next-Gen debate anymore, I own the 360 and I love it, I had my doubts at time, I loved what I saw from MS at E3, and I think when it's all said and done I will be comfortable knowing I have made the best and correct Next-Gen system for me. I owned every Palystation system to date too, but not this time around I won't wont, I just will take a pass this time, I'm just not impressed with Sony anymore, I just think they talk a good talk most of the time. I never had an intrest in Nintendo since the SNES, and thats been it. Thats just my take.
