Not to mention all the holidays and special events. It's like digital crack at times...

Does anyone know what, if anything, was added to the DS version, other than Wi-Fi support? I want to make sure it's an upgrade since I still have it for GC.
I played the heck out of both and honestly I prefer the GC version. The DS version has the animals gossiping more, they'll startup conversations with you, they'll invite themselves over to scope out your crib as they're part of the NRA.

Your character now has the ability to learning and show emotions. You can anywhere in game. You don't have to send off fossils for inspection to the Far Away Museum.

Overall if you've played the GC version you'll get that been there done that feeling.

I am partially happy with my PSP but at $129.99, damn I'm tempted. Will probably end up picking it up, when does it come out?

Is it better overall on the GC over the DS?

Thank you. Actually I got an offer for a normal DS, metroid prime demo, carrying case, everything else that came with it (as well as good connection) and a few bad non-ds games, not sure which to go with. ($100 plus shipping)

Yes it does because that's where I played my first Animal Crossing game and it feels familiar. The graphics are better, the fishing mechanics are better. One thing I hated about the DS version is using the D-Pad to control your fishing pole.

In the GC version the lure always came in to shore. In the DS version it goes away from shore. To me it made a huge difference one that I didn't like(DS).

Too bad they didn't incorporate an analog stick on the DS Lite.

It all depends if you like the new sleeker design and what the Lite has to offer. I want a DS just as bad, but I'm holding off for Lite as I will regret not getting the newer version.

                  Which non-ds games are included?

Better on the Cube. I hated AC on the DS. Just didn't like it at all, and I loved the Cube version.

Just wasn't fun on the DS. Couldn't get into it at all. I loved the Cube version and played it to death.

What can you recommend for the DS? Was Mario64 DS any good?

Mario64 was Mario 64. It was the same game, if you liked Mario 64, then you'll like Mario 64.

Metroid Prime Pinball, Meteos (liked it better than Lumines, made by the same team), Trauma Center (extremely hard, and also pretty rare to find), Mario Kart, etc.

Yeah, I have Bust a Move, I haven't even touched it, the wife plays it. I'm not a Bust a Move fan, the wife is.
