2 New Colors have been announced for September here in the US

Nintendo of America will finally give the Polar White Nintendo DS Lite some company on shelves. This September, the company will release the second and third color system in the US: pink and black.

Pink will officially be called "Coral Pink," and Black will have the title "Onyx."

I know that when my wife sees the Pink one in stores, I have a feeling that she'll be let's buy it. LOL!

I plan on buying my 2nd DS Lite next weekend, but Im wondering... since the black wont be out yet, can I buy the white one, then trade it back in once the black one drops?

If it's within 30 days, go to Best Buy and pruchase the white one. They should allow you to return it within 30 days and then exchange it for the "Pink" one, doh, I mean the "Black" one. Just ask what their policy is to double check. My Best Buy near my work, they will take back systems within 30 days of purchase with a receipt even if opened.

Best Buy gets very funky with you on returns of items. I hate buying electronics from them

Has anyone heard about a possible Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, or Super Smash Bros. for the DS? I would pick up a DS in a second if these games are on the way.

I haven't seen anything about bringing those to the DS, but the Mario basketball DS game looks pretty fun.

Yeah, I don't have the system yet, but I was thinking, "man, Mario Tennis with WiFi would be so much fun on the DS". Hopefully, it will come out soon.

New Gamestop on Clinton Highway. I didn't get the Phoenix Wright. It was Out of Stock when I tried to order it, but thanks anyways Brian. I'll keep checking to see if they get more in stock . As far as what's good for the DS, here's what my wife and I have played and loved

1. New Super Mario Bros
2. MarioKart
3. Trauma Center
4. Nintendogs-I don't see the point of it, but my wife likes it
5. World Championship Poker-The AI ain't half bad and it's a steal used at 14.99. I just wish it were online


Games that I've not played but are really good according to others
Tetris DS
Advance Wars
Phoenix Wright
Ages of Empires


Maybe we should start a new thread with DS Game recommendations.

Thanks for the recommendations. A game thread would be a cool idea. I'm thinking of getting this for my wife.

My wife went to Gamestop to pickup LegoSW for me and she saw the Pink DS. She plays the DS every night before bed.

Now she wants the pink one. I tell her we shouldn't spend another $129. LOL!
