I'm at about 50% complete, and there's no more missions with only about four more stronghold missions left. Is anybody else around this stage of completion? I just find it odd that the game's only half done, and there's no more VK, Los Carnales or Westside Rollerz missions and only four more strongholds.

you have to do more strongholds for a group to get more missions i think

and i also notice it getting harder as I go on....i'm going gang by gang, did Los Carnales, now 1/3 through VK, and i bet VK would have been easier had I started out with them...there are a few missions i end up running a lot to get the hang of it

The mission where you have dress like the Vice Kings and wreck havoc all over the town, I lost because I ran out of ammo and I tried to outrun the cops to knock over those bowling pins and my car caught fire and I blew out of the car. :y4:

This game is really fun though, I'll need to take it from my little brother more often.

Also, Mila Kunis did the voice for Tanya, right? I recognized the voice but I couldn't quit think of who it was, but it sounds a lot like Mila Kunis (Jackie from That 70's Show)

Love this game. Whereas the GTA games eventually got too frustrating for me to complete, with overly difficult missions and crappy combat controls, Saints Row becomes more engrossing. I'm only 10% complete, but I can see that the missions are becoming more challenging, but not "impossible". The combat is just lovely with the manual control scheme. I haven't even tried the online portion of this game.

Love this game. Whereas the GTA games eventually got too frustrating for me to complete, with overly difficult missions and crappy combat controls, Saints Row becomes more engrossing. That is what happen to me with GTA 3 and then I just found ways to get to the city otherwise like jumping the brige...

Just start doing the activities like the Snatches, Drug Trafficking, and Hitman. I'm 74% complete, and still having a blast. A few of the hitman missions will require you to get ur wanted level to max in order to make the hit, so there is a whole lot of killing left to do. Not to mention the other activities, like level 7 & 8 snatches...not very easy.

Yep Mila Kunis plays the voice of Tanya.

As far as that level, you need to mix it up between the rocket launcher and the "AK47", don't remember the ingame name. Best combo for me and passed it first time with it.

I agree, thouse level 7-8 snatches are not a breeze to get through. Usually when I go make the first round of ho's, I have three homies with me. Drop the ho's off and than pick up more homies. Doing it alone is very hard.

i went all rocket launcher and it took me a while to get used to aiming while moving (don't get me started on the final Los Carnales mission, man that was tough), but after a while i got the hang of it.

dude anyone know what to do in the ballerz stronhold where you have to blow up all of their cars in the different garages? 2 garages have arrows yet no cars are there. where the heck are they? is my game in a glitch or something?

From the sounds of things that the case, you will probably need to restart the mission. I was doing a stronghold mission and had the same thing happen, only with a person as opposed to a car. Kinda frusterating but what can you do.

One thing I would like to know (I don't have the game):

Why did it only get an 8.3 at GameSpot? I read the review, the controls sound great, it has alot of things GTA doesn't have. I mean, you crazy and you fly out the front of your window? Insurance fraud missions? Force store owners to open safes? This game sounds crazy

How is the radio? Specifically the hip hop station.

radio is so so, not like gta that has a lot of popular songs. i have never heard most of the songs on the radio in SR, but the radio isnt really important to me.



as for my prob earlier, i estarted the mission and the cars were there. i must have been caught in a gitch. i swear i was looking for like a secret room or a lever or smething as if it were tomb raider or something. kind of crazy. hopefully it doesnt happen again.

Ah well. I love GTA radio. Sometimes when I'm just bored, I'd sit there with the car on and listen to it lol. I remember when I used to listen to KChat. Or Chatterbox. They always had me dyin. Or I'd just listen to a hip hop station.

Hopefully the radio is listenable.
