why not download the demo and try it. That way you won't waste $60 for it if you don't like it.

As stated I had the opposite reaction. I loved it. I don't know if it is worth the sixty smackeroos or not, but I really enjoyed the demo.
I don't remember who said 'it's been done before' but for the most part everything has been done before. These days I enjoy those things that do it well. IMO the Prey demo did it well.DON'T PANICComment

The multiplayer is nuts with all the portals and gravity walking. The acid gun owns, and it's funny when you kill somebody with the wrench while there off spirit walking.
Can't wait until the game games out.

It exceeded my expectations by a lot. Though after hearing it was using the Doom 3 engine they dropped to about a 2/10 because Doom 3 was crap.
I'd say it's about a 6.5
No motion sickness,dizzyness or headaches for me. Pretty damn kick *** soundtrack too.Comment

I found it to be one of the worst FPS' I've ever played. Boring, confusing, bad controls, and has that complete been there done that feeling. Disappointing demo, disappointing game. Glad some of you like it though. I'm happy the demo was released, they saved me $60.Comment

Maybe I'm crazy, but this game had my attention from the very start. So far, I love the story line and the characters. I haven't played much, but I will definately rent this and possibly trade something in to purchase.
I thought the motion thing was going to get me sick, but so far, nothing. I just need to take my time. Outside of GRAW, this has got to be one of my most favs. Honestly, it comes at just the right time. I was really getting upset with some of the junk that has been released on this system.

You know, to each their own, but saying that this is one of the worst FPS they've ever played is just ridiculous.
It's new, and people want attention I guess so they overblow things completely. I'm not really into the game that much and I won't buy it, but even from what i've played I know it's not a bad game at all. It's a very solid game with high production values.
It's not for everyone, but saying it's the worst FPS ever is just flat out dumb and it's not a good representation of what the game is for those prospective buyers who may not have LIVE and are trying to decide if they want to buy it.
For those people, if you're really into FPS and Sci-Fi then get it, you won't be disappointed.Comment

I'm not a fan of these types of sci-fi games but it also didn't help that the controls didn't feel good. . And the demo online felt like the same ol' been there done that FPS online experience. IMO, it's definitely not worth the $60 pricetag that it'll carry. Agreed, the controls killed it for me. The SciFi FPS has been done to death, and nothing has topped Halo or Half Life. Toss Doom in there and Prey is still below it to me.Comment

I've played a ton of FPS I didn't like. Quake, Doom etc etc...That doesn't make them bad games... I just personally didn't like them. I understand you're giving your opinion on the game and apparently that's how you feel so you have every right. I just don't see how this particular game (among the many many crappy games that have been made) could be considered one of the worst you've ever played.
