Fry's didn't get it today, so I'll check it out Friday most likely, I doubt Fry's will be open after the concert I'm going to. Still sounds to be worth 40 bucks, especially when that'll be recouped selling it to Gamestop later.

should've bought the Sunday paper with the ad in it. I had changed my mind but my car turned into the Best Buy lot after work and I just happened to have the ad in my car so I took it in and priced matched. Can't beat what I then thought "a half decent game" for $40.

yeah i was saying the same thing. ign just blows! i was gonna get this game no matter what anyway but with gameinformer giving it a 9.5, gamespot giving it a 9 now its a no brainer.

I'm having fun so far. I think if you do all of the side objectives and dont rush through it the game will not feel repetitive at all.

I also feel if you do the side stuff this game is really good. Played for about an hour last night to get a feel for the game and read the 1st chapter of the strategy guide today.
decided to start over since I had a better understanding of what's going on and I must say this game is a winner!!! Graphics are some of the best ever in a video game. I have just left the city on the horse and the scenery is just a thing of beauty.
From what I have seen the reviews are way off IMO. Peace!!!

i am stuck on the pickpocket thing. Well, not relaly stuck tried it about 4-5 times, then i had to scoot.

I played for about a Half, I tired, but man I will say in that Half, the game is amazing, one of the best looking games I ever saw, the game play is sweet, The game is like Prince of Persa which is great, because I loved POP, I don't know what half of the reviewers were playing, like I said I love them so far. I can't wait to play it more in the next few days and the weekend, the fighting is fun and the kills look awsome, this game is a keeper and may stick around in anyone libary for sometime.

I haven't checked in on this game since I blasted it based off the E-3 gameplay they showed on G4.... Did the game round out, or will it flop due to over hype?

Hahaha.

I killed some whore who ran into me and dropped her pot. I then got on top of a roof and hid out, and came back to the scene of the crime. I did the little "praying" thing like 5 feet from where I killed her. So funny to kill someone and litterally stand just feet from the guards.

I liked this game for the first hour or two I played then I realized its too easy and repetitive. You dont have to abide by the creed at all for one. Once you learn the buttons you can take on an entire city and they cant stop you. The game takes no skill and its basically just taking up time to complete the missions which have no variation to them. Graphics and sound wise this game is amazing but I need an actual game to have fun and not just something to take up my time.

Hmm. Interesting to hear a dissenting voice.

Not to slam on anyone who has left impressions, but I find you usually have to wait a couple of days for the newness and the euphoria of a much anticipated game's arrival to get a real accurate view. People are initially wowed by new games, especially ones they have been waiting for. It's totally understandable, and I am sure I have been guilty of the same thing in the past.

And yet I still wait for each new impression with baited breath...
