Re: Guitar Hero 2
Hmm, well to me that sort of defies the point of Guitar Hero. I love playing the game not because I can memorize how to play the songs, but because I can coordinate what's on the screen with the guitar. To me, it's about as pointless as playing the game without sound. But that's just me.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 2
He wasn't even moving the strum bar to the beat (I think it's one of the bridge parts between verses). I've played that song a ton, and since he wasn't holding the strum bar down and using the buttons he was definately faking.

I don't know... that doesn't look one bit fake to me. Plus, it seems like it would be too much work to try to fake that. Either way, I still think Performance Mode would be crap.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

The word is they will have 10 tracks available on launch day to download (10 from GHI.....please be Thunderkiss....).
I am having a harder time than expecting selling my GH stuff on craigslist, but I am definitely getting this for the 360. Can't wait!Comment

Re: Guitar Hero 2
I had the chance to play this tonight on the 360 at Best Buy and I really can't wait for the game to come out. Yes, it's pretty much the same game as the PS2 version but the graphics were clearly better (obviously).
Anyone else seen a station set up at Best Buy, or anywhere else?New England Patriots

Re: Guitar Hero 2
FYI, Circuit City will be having this for $89.99 next week, like everywhere else, but if you buy it there, you also get a 1600 MS Points card for free, that's $20.Comment
