Dumb question, but how long is the SP mode? I'm on the fence about this game and I was trying to figure out if it was more of a rental or if I should go buy it.

If you count Half-Life 2, Episode 1 and Episode 2, I think it runs about 15-20 hours?

depends on player. Average time for hl2 is about 20 hours. Episode 1 at 3, and episode 2 at 5.

I just ran through the first level or two of Half-Life 2. My first time playing the series, and so far I'm impressed. The game is very well put together, and for an older game it looks pretty good running in 1080p. I can already tell that this is one heck of a bargain for $59.

I'm not buying this but my roomate has this for pc and has been playing team fortress for the last month. I really want to try Portal out though.

I'm positive I'm near the very end, but have no idea what to do.

Such a simple game, but it so awesome and the writing deserves an award.

19 stages. first 14 or so are pretty easy. last 4 or 5 are the brainbusters. Then after it unlocks all sorts of timed modes and extra options to replay the levels again.

I could just take his computer and hook it up at my desk, not only will he never do anything about it but I'll get a free computer. I'll just make sure to take the ikea batteries out of his keyboard so that he won't have any proof.
