It would be nice to get an OS room going sometime though. TF2 is a really awesome game. I just wish the netcode was better. It could be just the hosts connections, but everytime I have tried to play in a room with more than 12 players it would lag really bad.

I think the connection problems and lag is indeed the host on live. On the pc, no lag or drops in any game i have played on.

I was heavy last night and a medic just followed me around with his blue ray on me at all times. Talk about some arse whooping. Got into the spy a little bit. Pretty cool how you can be invisible and disguise yourself as the other team.

The good news is, the regular random XBL crowd will be gone from this game in a few days.
You had good people though, the folks that kept hopping on our side (me, Hoosier, and Yort) were run and gunners. I can't even fathom the number of kills mike95 had with the turret on that one control point. The randoms on my side just kept running right into it, and then when he moved it to the tunnel the carnage was even worse!

I'm pretty good as a medic, I think I'm going to run with that class a lot.

As for the spy, it's cool, but you have to "act" like a member of the other team in order to be effective. Pretty cool!

Make Campaign more difficult, like one skull makes all the covendent go up a rank, another makes all weapons have half the usual ammo. Then the silver skull give you funny stuff. Like IWHB Skull gives ya extra dialogue while grunt birthday makes it where when you get a grunt head shot confetti shoots out with kids yellin yay. Plus Achievements. Oops meant to quote heels fan.

I gotta agree. Once you start to figure it all out (the game is so much deeper than the average FPS, or any FPS for that matter), it really clicks. Like when I caught on fire and you said to jump in the water. Now, yeah, that's common sense, but I don't think I've seen that work in any other FPS or game for that matter.

The taunting, the cool weapons, the strategy, very cool game. For what looks like a run and gun shooter, it's actually deeper than GRAW and R6 IMO.

I agree, it's surprisingly deep. I personally prefer the territory game types to the CTB (briefcase) games, but that might change once there's more than one map for CTB. Although for there being only one map, there are a lot of different ways to play that map in terms of how you use the terrain to your advantage, where you put your turrets, etc. For being a cartoonishly-styled, quick-paced game, the game really plays out like more of a chess match than you'd think it does and the different classes really keep things fresh.

I enjoy it more than any other FPS currently and I'm really hoping that Valve hooks us up with some (free) downloadable content in the way of new maps.

That one CTB match, with the Fort map. That thing rules. Like I said in our game last night, I've played that now 4 straight times. I still got lost almost every turn. Thing is huge.

I liked the next map with the territories though. The dust bowl or whatever.

I'm yet to touch HL2 or either episode. That stupid Portal is going to drive me to the looney bin. It's insane how good that game is.
