The funny thing is, depending on the way you play, you might just use your hands and occasionally a pistol. I played very leanly, using few weapons. Brennan Ieyoub who works on our digital-video team, however, used all sorts of gadgets when he beat the game. "
We're talking about multiplayer. That sounds like single player offline.

I'm already stuck on the first level. I've infiltrated the place and now I need to get into the plant. They mentioned something about vents in the roof. How in the hell do I get on the roof (LOL). I'm sure it's just something simple that I'm overlooking.

            Not exactly resounding from Gamespot..

The Good: Features an overhauled version of Splinter Cell's innovative multiplayer mode; the campaign's trust system presents a few interesting moral dilemmas; tried-and-true stealth action gameplay still offers complexity and variety; high amount of replay value overall.

The Bad: Campaign recycles a lot of the same graphics, sound, and gameplay from before; some frame rate problems bog down the visuals.

Singleplayer is alot better than I thought. I've beat the first missions, and a good ways through the 2nd mission. To answer your question candyman, they set the story up with CGI. The story so far is good, and has me wanting to play more of it.

Sully, I got your invite, but I was just getting started in the singleplayer. Its been awhile since I played a Splinter Cell. Want to get used to everything before I get my *** handed to me online. LOL

Did you get into the computer, and open the gate? Once you do that, you'll have a few guards to deal with, then on the far wall theres a ladder, follow it up, and go up another ladder. Theres a pipe leading across to the vents in the roof. Make over there, and you're inside. The next part is alot of fun with the time limit.

Thanks. I figured it out after falling off of the first walkway and loading the last checkpoint. I heard wrong and thought I had to go to the roof. That partner of mine was an idiot.

So, during multiplayer, is the one game mode the only one you can play? I didn't see a way to change them..pretty stupid. I also think having on the three maps on multiplayer is dumb as well. I am enjoying it the short time I had with it so far.

I was having a blast, and then all of the sudden, everyone was gone, and I started glitching online during the last.

Are we gonna try it again later fellas?

I've found this title a little dissapointing, it looks and feels like it should have been a 360 launch title. As in, it doesn't feel like a true "next-gen" (I hate that term) sequel and a lot of textures and animations look like they've been lifted straight from previous titles in the series. I'm not sure, but is this game even running on a new engine? Maybe Ubisoft just wanted to make sure they got this game out long before the MGS4 hype-machine goes into full effect. The multiplayer does sound cool, and if they're smart they'll add onto it with future downloads.
