Re: Official Call Of Duty 3 impressions
Question for anyone-Does this version have a decent skirmish single player mode? and more than one type or just deathmatch? do the opposing bots put up a good fight? I don't play online so that would mean alot to me. Thanks for any comments.ByurrulzIdon'tfollowComment

Re: Official Call Of Duty 3 impressions
Does anyone know of a side by side comparison between the Allies and Axis weapons in Multiplayer?
It seems to me that the BAR is much better than the MP44 as it has less kick.
Has anyone else experienced significant differences between the respective weapons?Comment

Re: Official Call Of Duty 3 impressions
Just downloaded the new map. And since then, when Ive been online my voice chat doesnt work. I can hear others, but they cant hear me, I know others also cant be heard because the matches are really quiet, with someone always going "hello...hello?". Also, my game didnt freeze...but I did right after a spawn, I couldnt move...I could see people run past me, heard explosions and gunfire, but I couldnt move at all, select and start both worked ..but no buttons....hope this isnt a but related to the map!Comment

Re: Official Call Of Duty 3 impressions
I have to say that I really don't care for the single player game, and I'm someone who absolutely loved COD2. The graphics are great, but Treyarch made some terrible decisions- the inability to skip cut scenes, the cheapness of the save points (even if you accomplish multiple objectives, you'll have to do the whole thing over again if you die), the pointless mini-games like the melee sequence-that just make the game drag. The game also feels really small without the inclusion of the Eastern and Desert fronts. The first level is a lot of fun, but after that I get bored quite quickly. The game frankly feels like a relic next to GoW.
On the other hand, the multiplayer is fantastic when you can get a match. It's the only thing that's kept me from putting this one up on eBay.Comment

Re: Official Call Of Duty 3 impressions
I agree, this game online reminds me of Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and that game had me up for all nighters when I first got Xbox Live. Playing a 12 vs. 12 match on this game is insane, and keeps it in my 360. The single player was pretty weak IMO, but this game shines online!Comment

Re: Official Call Of Duty 3 impressions
Thanks for the opinions on the single player game of COD 3. Think I'll just back up on this one and maybe rent in the near future. As for now,I'm pretty hooked on Smackdown vs RAW 2007 on the 360. Excellent single player game!ByurrulzIdon'tfollowComment
