Just go rent it then, I think you'l like it. Did you ever play the Sims or Animal Crossing? If you at all liked those games or are a fan of "sandbox" type games then it's worth buying though for sure.

Oh and there is a 10% off coupon in this months OXM for Circuit City btw (Best Buy will match this). Although I couldn't find the game at CC or BB either one yesterday here in Richmond.

      Correct.

With SDVR, Wii, Zelda, Trauma Center, Wavebird Controller, and Wii Component Cables next week I only have about enough saved up for these items. Then it gets to a point where you have 5-6 games staring at you and you get so overwhelmed on what to play.

I know, and are you like me, you feel guilty if you don't play a game enough after you just bought it? I still feel pangs of guilt everytime I glance at NBA2K7 on my tv stand. I swear it's saying "Why don't you play me now, i'm a fantastic game!!" and all I can do is look away in shame.

I'm feeling guilty looking at Bully, Scarface, NBA2K7, Madden07, Saint's Row, MLB06 just staring at me saying play me, play me! I've been alternating between Guitar Hero 1/2, Gears of War, Godfather, and Marvel:UA.

Sometimes I long the days when were kids/teenagers and could play videogames for 5-6 hours straight. Now that there are so many more responsibilities in life as an adult, gametime has decreased.

Re: Viva Pinata (XBOX 360) Impressions

I'm the same. I really need to get a handle on it. I recently bought GH2, Bully, COD3, GOW and now VP.
Some of these I know I won't want to play them until I get rid of them....sucks really.
I only want 1 basketball game and have to decide whther or not to stick with NBA 2k7 or go with CHoops 2k7.
Vegas is a "get later" game now I beleive.

            ANYWAYS:
VP is pretty freaking cool! Even at the early stages I can see it will be a relaxing change of pace game that will suck the hours up.

Too bad EB doesn't have a back room where you can buy the game.

You guys crak me up, it's not like your asking for a Brittney Spears GBA game.

Now all you bastards that bought this and have given good impressions are making me want to go buy this. LOL! What am I talking about, I started this thread, so I contributed to the poison.

Yeah man, I have high blood pressure and I feel like it's very relaxing, maybe I can consider it therapy. I should use my BP machine while i'm playing to see if it really does calm me down. It almost is like putting me in a Pinanata Trance...you know the ol' glazed over eyes, lose-track-of-time trance type thing...

That's true, careful what you wish for as they say!! I really for some reason always planned on buying this game when I saw it for the first time simply because it looked so unique. Sure I had my doubts at times like when a guy at work said "YOU'RE NOT SERIOUSLY BUYING THAT" but then I thought, damnit, am I going to bow to society's preconceived notions of what type of game a 36 year old man should be playing or am I going to laugh at the conventions and go my own route, opinion be damned.

Boy am I glad for once I stuck to my guns and didn't pick-up COD3 and GOW...and instead got VP and GOW....(although I'll pickup COD3 sometime after Christmas). Like Tool says in Third Eye...think for yourself, question authority...think for yourself, question authority..

Too Cool. I wanted this game from the time that it was announced, but then they decide to release all these games during the week of 11/7. It's nice to have choices, but there are too many choices this week.

How does this game compare to Animal Crossing?

I've only played Animal crossing in passing at my sisters house but it seems to have the same feeling that after awhile you tend to associate the characters as having human qualities. One thing I really like for example is how certain pinatas just seem to hate each other and constantly bicker. For example as I said, Oprah the worm really hates Rush Limbaugh the bird and they are constantly doing battle. And surprisingly the Oprah usually takes him more than half the time. Half of last night I was sending out that crazy doctor to revive Rush and I even considered having him eat Oprah to end it (as birds eat the worms if you direct them) but considering Oprah was the second worm in my garden I just didn't have the heart.

Eventually Rush will die of old age soon (I don't understand why but Oprah is older and doens't seem to have his problems) as I keep finding him slumped over by the pond when no ones even attacked him but for now I just try to keep Oprah and Rush separated.

Does anyone know why the heck my apple trees won't produce any apples? I've got 3 mature healthy trees with no apple output. I have no idea why.

Ok so far I'm loving it! Odogg is right. Once you name your Pinata's and they grow/have "babies" you really care for them. My garden is coming along pretty good. Just had my third building put up and have 6 Pinata's total so far that have made a home here.

I've got Whiskers and Tails. Who had a baby called Wisecracker.

This game just sounds like its simple but deep.

I'm over at Gametrailers and watching some X06 videos where their going from the beginning stages of the game to building up the Pinata's. It is so funny how when you start the game, the whole area is a dump.

Don't know since I don't have the game yet. Could it be they only produce fruit a certain of the year? I think that was the case in A.C.

The funny thing is when I first started out I didn't think about the entire process and I named my two first pinatas William and Chuck D. So then later on I see "William and Chuck D are romancing" and I was like...damn, I gotta change that name, LOL...so Chuck D morphed into Oprah. As if I don't feel "alternative lifestyle" enough playing with such a game, hahaha..
