Anybody receive any confirmation on when Wii software will start showing up in most stores? I've noticed Best Buy has the launch games listed to be released on 11/15 on their website.

Not sure, but I haven't thought to ask anybody in town. Best Buy has my Zelda (as of now) shipping out on the 15th.

Well, if you had your PS3 reserved at Gamestop/EB...you may want to find out if you are getting it, as Gamestop's not getting enough to cover.

BTW I am probably going to the Cambridge walmart. Its a little nicer and quieter than St. Clouds Wallyworld. And I believe their letting us sit inside again so I'll just grab one of their fold out chairs and take a snooze.Last edited by vinny; 11-14-2006, 03:19 AM.Comment

Re: The Official Wii & PS3 Launch Discussion
Walmart is still releasing these two at midnight, correct? If thats the case, i'd say early to late morning may be a better time to get in line. BTW, I saw in their Sunday add that they would have a minimum of 10 per store. Anybody heard anything else?
One other question. I know its one per customer, but what if I take my GF's brother and I pay for his? Is this considered a seperate purchase or one because i'm paying for both? Probably something to ask a store manager beforehand, but figured i'd ask anyway...Comment

Re: The Official Wii & PS3 Launch Discussion
On the radio this morning, they were talking to a guy who's already camping at the Mentor, OH Best Buy. I drove by, sure enough, there he is... LOL I'm guessing by him being there, the line will quickly fill up before Thursday.Comment

2) I would think that you would only be allowed one per receipt. I would just give him the cash and have him pay for it himself.

Re: The Official Wii & PS3 Launch Discussion
You were the last person to get the premium though right? I gotta believe that the population in general is more hyped for the ps3 launch. When TRU in St Cloud had their 4 preorders for ps3, they had people lined up 23 hours early. I went about 9 hours early and discovered the 4 spots were long since filled. I got time on thursday and nothing better to do so I figure I'll play it safe and get there plenty early.

Re: The Official Wii & PS3 Launch Discussion
Yeah, I just want to secure a copy of Zelda. I'll probably be able to find one with minimal hassell Saturday, but if I can get it now and guarantee I'll have it for launch then I'll do it. I called two stores, Wal-Mart and Best Buy, and neither could even give me an answer. They were clueless.Comment
