I definatly respect the flip. Its ******** how you can triple your money off of some of these impatient suckers. I cant help but think tho, with so many people selling them, I think more than a few are gonna get burned and get stuck with a small flip.
I definatly see if you had a pre-order and you have 1 locked down, then you pretty much should sell it, but these people buying with just the intent to sell, I think and hope a few get burned. I blame Sony for the small amount and the greedy ebay'ers. I want 1 eventually, but Im damn sure not an idiot,lol.

Oh, I hate the flipping of the system. It burns the people that actually want it. But if I had a PS3, I would have to sell it. It's too much money to turn down. The people paying 2K for something they can find readily in a few months is just insane as well. Every game out now will be out then.

I called my EB last night and was told I'm still good to pick up the PS3 on Friday. He said their allotment was cut from 8 to 6, so the last two people in line won't get theirs. Good thing I was 2nd in line.

Out of the 8 people who preordered at that store, I think I might be the only person actually keeping the console.

I also heard the midnight Best Buy stores will be getting 248 60GB PS3s, each. Midnight Circuit City stores will receive 100. We have one of each store near me and there are already people lined up at both of them.

I'd like to get a PS3 and turn a profit on it, but I'm not going to take a unit from someone that wants one more than me just so I can get the money. If I wanted a PS3 real bad to actually play and I couldn't because people were buying them just to sell for a profit, I'd be pissed. I don't want to do that to someone.

Yea I agree, if I had 1 Id sell it too. Its definatly looking like a triple. Like you said its insane. With alot of people not even thinking its worth 600, I wonder whats going through the minds of these people paying triple the amount.

And exactly what`s the difference with what EB does. Taking your games for 20 bucks and selling them used for 50....

so how does this preorder things work? Does every store make sure the people that preordered in an orderly fashion will get their systems. So if there were only 6 systems in the store, the first 6 that preordered would get theirs first?

thats not what I heard, each bestbuy in NY said theyn were only getting 20 of the 60gig systems and 6 of the 20gig hardive one, and there only one circut city in NY period getting 100 systems, and thats in Union Square. So I'm not sure what people have been telling you, but 248 unit for each best best has to be false.

I have mine ordered through EBGames.com, they say they are coming in December, either way, I preordered them the day they went on the site.

As long as I have them by Xmas, I'm good.

Gamestop, CC, and Best Buy say they will have them on release day. And you can actually order them now from the nintendo site and have them shipped immediately.

My thing is that i am not sure if they will sell out come sunday.

One of the Best Buy midnight release stores for PS3 (Rockville, MD) already has 150+ people camped out, as of last night. One of my co-workers was planning to go to that store tomorrow morning. She's now working on a plan B.

There is no difference in what eb does. Its the same bullsh1t. Thats why I dont trade my games in.
