    Re: Army of Two

On of my buddies bought this game today and we played some split screen multiplayer for about 4 1/2 hours. It was damn good fun, even w/ split screen. A really enjoyable game with a friend in SP.

We didn't get to play any MP yet, but when we do I'll post some impressions then too. I was pretty impressed with the game however, after not expecting much.

It play alot like Gears of War except with real people fighting other real people, so I like the style for sure. Private Military Mercenries ... sweeeet.

Does anyone know whent the demo is coming out? Just in case my gamefly doesnt come soon enough.
Being there's a distribution center in Pittsburgh, you should get your games pretty quickly. I usually get my games within 2 days. Good choice on choosing Gamefly, though. You'll see the savings, in the long run.

As far as I know, no it hasn't changed. I've stuck with 2 games out at a time since I've had them (2 years) and it's worked out very well for me. Shipping has dramatically improved over the past year (with them opening up a shipping center in Tampa and Pittsburgh).

                  Re: Army of Two

So after playing till 4am this morning, I think I can easily say that I am starting to really love this game. Something about it makes it really great. After my buddy and I were done playing we finally checked out the store to see what we could buy. I could say that the weapon custimization is amazing! Hopefully there will be more guns/accessories available for download, cause then that will just keep the replay value high.

I was somewhat dissapointed at the lack of cool masks in the game. They have about 5-6 bland ones, then they have the handful of crazy looking masks.

I played it a bit online last night. The first time I tried a unranked match and it took forever to load, so then I tried a ranked match and it played ok. Just keep trying it.

Game is ok. Individual campaign is ok but very short. i beat it in two days w/o even trying hard.

online is fun but very poorly done. no lobby. loading time for mathces is God awful.

                                Sequel anyone?

EA site hints at Army of Two sequel 'Army of Two: TFD'

Remember the game announcement we told you was coming from EA Montreal next week? We've got a sneaking suspicion it might be a sequel to Army of Two. PlayStation LifeStyle found this at the AoT homepage, just a big old red "Submit" banner. But digging through the source code it found:
                                • Game Name - "Army of Two: TFD"
                                • Description - "Army to Two. The definitive third person co-op shooter is back." [sic]
                                • Studio Name - "EAM" (Yeah, we're thinking EA Montreal)

So, assuming this is all on the level, we've only got one question: What's "TFD" stand for? We're accepting your guesses right after the break.
