Re: Army of Two
yeah, i've seen the new trailers and gameplay footage, but given its history, just have to wait and see. A few months ago, the hype about the game was that it was supposed to be completely broken and no quick work by EA was going to fix it. Now it's supposed to be an amazing must buy? I'm not shocked why people who keep up with this kind of stuff on the internet are waiting to see how it'll be before getting hyped up over it..especially for an EA game.
I think if it turns out good, it'll be a sign of where the new EA is going. Even a few years ago, they would have shipped it out broken and marketed it heavily. Now, they sat on this past the holiday sales period, and put it out in early march.Comment

Re: Army of Two
Same reason most other companies do, people want to see "ideal" body types in games, if it's guys then it's big muscles and if it's gals it's big curves. Sure in this genre it does get old, I agree, but I really don't want to see a stickboy nerd or some overweight comic book guy type playing in an Army game.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Army of Two
Guys in the armed forces (who are in it as a career) aren't huge, they're cut, but not huge. The armed forces has weight limits for all their soldiers. Marines widely considered the bad asses of the armed forces are actually all quite small, ripped as hell but generally small. All of them that I've ever met have been around 150-180 depending on their height. Anyways the roided out body is far from the ideal look, unless you're just a meathead.Same reason most other companies do, people want to see "ideal" body types in games, if it's guys then it's big muscles and if it's gals it's big curves. Re: Army of Two
I get what you're saying but you're missing the point, just like most women in real life don't look like Lara Croft, ditto for these sorts of games in regards to soldiers. It's the public's perception, or maybe romanticism is a better word, not necessarily reality..Guys in the armed forces (who are in it as a career) aren't huge, they're cut, but not huge. X-Play review - 4/5

Pros:
- Good visuals, Great special effects
- Occasionally daring storyline
- Well-written dialogue
- Co-op player's dream
- Great weapon customization
Cons:
- Slippery controls in some situations
- Partner AI less-than-adequate
- Gears of War did a lot of it better

Re: Army of Two
That's encouraging. I agree with a lot of X-Play's reviews. The game looks fun to me, but I will see. Will probably wait until I am done with Lost Odyssey first and trade it in while it's still fresh.PS: You guys are great.
