EA has a history of showing great CGI trailers of a game, and the ingame footage never holds up.

I've looked forward to this game since I saw it in EGM a while back. Just because it has similiar shooting styles to GOW doesn't make it a better game.

EA to even hold tongue and diss GOW in a interview was dumb. Because they have a history of creating a piss poor product that could have always turned out great with more effort.

Maybe GOW was over hyped and some people were disappointed. For me its still a great game. And I'm still playing multiplayer and trying to finish Insane Single player.

GOW did keep its word though...some of you calling it not innovative. Well for me Cliffy B and Team delivered a great experience in Video Games.

An action shooter with a great story, so far incredible graphics and sound. And a kickazz level of play with smart AI. Not to mention they finally created a game that even the hardcore gamers got pissed at, for dying numerous times, and played to death before their fingers were bruised...thats seems pretty innovative to me.

Back to this game though....just wait and see, before downing another product.

GOW imo is the killer app right now for the 360. I thought the gameplay + storyline really brought the game together for me. I didn't ever hear about EA going to Microsoft during the development of the 360 and telling them that they need 512MB RAM on the system for their game(s) to run on there without limitations.

GOW ain't got **** on this game. In retrospect, I co-sign with the EA developer about GOW being all about graphics...Fanboys need not apply.

lol that's a pretty ridiculous statement - unless you know more than you've let on. You're comparing 1min of highlight footage versus the game many see as being GOTY. Army of Two looks to have some cool gameplay dynamics, but 1min of hype footage - EA hype footage, no less - is just is still just highlights

If everyone could just get off the fact that he dissed GOW and a mod renamed this thread to "Army of Two Discussion" that would be great. Like others before me, I think this game has potential. Another potentially good game is Kane & Lynch, I was just glossing over an old Gamepro preview of that.

GOW stinks. IDK I tried playing it, just doesn't catch my attention. I still haven't sent it back to GNF, and I still haven't played it after the first time I tried it. To me, it just isn't a good game.

I enjoyed Black so I have some faith in EA that this game will rock as well. That would be cool if we could make our own cover and create more interactive items than we ever seen b4.

People always have to make wars on here, its a freakin game guys, whatever happen to fun n' games? Bring on all the games and leave the war to be played by your joysticks not your keyboard!

I've usually had a bad time with EA shooters.

I'll more than likely give this game a try, but I won't hype myself up over it like Gears or Rainbow.

Cant down a game till they are on the shelf 2gether. Hopefully Ea can get it to run at 60 frames per second. Seems like they have a hard time doing that..

As for the EA game, I don't get excited about trailers, especially not with EA's track record. I'd advise waiting for the game and reviews to be out before sucking its d*ck.

Reminds me of Full Spectrum Warrior, though I am not sure if this is a FPS or military command game.

Not sure what Gears of War has to do with Army of Two, but changing the title of this thread.

The trailer for Army on XBL has me pumped for this game, the Terrell Owens comment was awesome.

Wow...so much for free speech that my title was changed because few fanboys had a problem with me badmouthing GOW...funny thing is all I said was it wasn't innovative, which duh is a fact. Crucify me, GOW fanboys.
