360. Large % of Live users play with mics. When playing me if u don't have a mic you get kicked. PC is tempting but im not in the mood to spend the money to upgrade my computer. Im hoping for some DLC very soon to make up for the fact we don't have mods on 360.

don't count on DLC, at least anytime soon. Valve says they will but they also said the same thing about TF2 and it never came. Valve says they want to update across both platforms but I've never read or heard anything where they actually committed to that. Just a heads up that this could very well be the extent of the L4D content we'll see on the 360. I hope I'm wrong but Valve is very against MS charging for DLC so we'll see what happens.

I should be on tonight, vast I went ahead and accepted your friend request. I'm down for campaign coop or versus mode and don't worry, I use my mic.

Just about everyone I have played with so far on PC has had a mic. I mean they are cheap as hell so I hope EVERYONE can afford one.

But yea I think a mic is a must also.

yeah your probably right, hope your wrong though. This game is begging for some DLC.

Does anyone have any tips for successfully completing expert mode in this game?It's been so frustrating is almost through the roof at times trying to get to one safehouse to another. It's almost impossible to play expert in public rooms due to random people constantly dropping in and out of it due to it being so hard. Im hoping there are gamers who strictly play campaign on expert because it really seems that this was how the game was meant to be played. I do think this mode separates the men from the boys, but also requires well coordinated teamwork and communication. I could run through a single campaign on normal easily without using med packs or healing but expert is a complete new beast. Speaking of beast, that damn tank is absolutely a monster on expert. If anyone has good tactics and teamwork experience add me:Bostonceltics80 on XBL, just let me know your from OS and we'll play this game strictly on expert.

I have played alot of expert and it is very tough. You are not going to walk through it. You HAVE to move like a team, almost back to back. As soon as you beat a nice size wave of zombies. Haul ***, try to make up as much ground as possible before the Director AI sends more trouble ya way. BUT yall must be on the same page.

Some spots are excellent defending grounds. Find a small closest. Get everyone in, guys in front duck. Guys in back fire. The guys in front are doing nothing but mele, this keeps a steady wave falling backwards and the back guys are mowing them down.

Near the elevator in the hospital, once you call for it everyone run to the closest to the right of the elevator. Get in there. You can hold them off from there. Now the roof top is a different story. Everyone needs to get down stairs in the big closest, and when the tanks comes go out to have room to work.

damn man i need to tear through this game on Advance first. You guys must be good. On PC it must be easier with a Keyboard n mouse.

I have one questions about the game. Is it a wide open environment where you are free to roam and go wherever you choose or is it kind of confined and linear in nature??

It's pretty much confined but there are some hidden areas where you can find items.

Its Linear but necessary due to the fact taht your constantly getting swarmed by hordes. Getting lost due to a huge non-linear map would be very very bad in a zombie apocalypse.

Nice, I'll check it out tonight when I get home.

Also there was a patch last night for the PC guys.

It increased the Mele swing time just slightly. Now you can't rely on mele only. If you have a wave coming you can't just mele them away. The old mele was so fast they could not get to you fast enough before the next swing was coming. Now they have a extra .10 of a sec to get to you. It makes a nice addition.
