I don't agree with the reviews that say the game is too short. If you look at the demo, the demo stops at a certian point, in the real game that isn't where the second safe house is at.

On advanced it took us 45 minutes to get to the second safe house, where we all pretty much died. I would guess that on Easy mode you can burn through the game quick, but on advanced and when i move to expert i have a feeling it is going to take a long long time. So rest assured.

im contemplating trading in Gears of War 2 in for this game....... if only i could get all my friends on xbox live to do the same. lol

edit: damn they want 60$ for this game? 50$ seems like the right price

I just finished the Blood Harvest campaign on normal against AI infected with three human teammates. I had seen some video and pics of the level and didn't think I would like it, but truthfully it seemed more fun than the No Mercy campaign.

Also, and I know this is a minor touch, but I love the movie poster at the beginning where it says each persons gamertag as the character (i.e. Pounding Beers as Louis). I also love the movie credits afterwards. Small touch but it really adds to the overall presentation.

I'm split between either getting this game when I'm home for break this weekend or to get NHL, and then get the other one for Christmas.

The one thing I'm worried about this game is if it will last online. TF2 was a ghost town after a couple of weeks, and if the same thing happens with L4D it will kill the game.

Hard to say. Co-op is becoming more and more popular, look at Horde for Gears 2, it's all anyone wants to play. Left 4 Dead is a co-op game (that can also be played offline, woot!), and I think with the new run of these types of games/modes, it'll have legs.

Played with some randoms yesterday. We got to all the safe-houses without too much of a hitch. We actually play like a team. (who would have thought that!)

Hard to say. Co-op is becoming more and more popular, look at Horde for Gears 2, it's all anyone wants to play. Left 4 Dead is a co-op game (that can also be played offline, woot!), and I think with the new run of these types of games/modes, it'll have legs.

That probably has more to do with the fact that most people can't even get into a regular multi-player game.

I'm loving this game! At first I wasn't digging it. But after playing a few of the 'movies' with people I know and not randoms I'm pretty much addicted. This is the most intense videogame I have ever played. I actually had to take a break after a few hours and 'relax' with GoW. LOL.
