This is one game that no matter what, I just don't get frustrated with. I mean, it's frustrating not to beat a mission, but in a good way. Everything about this game is golden.

This game doesn't piss me off if I die/lose/etc...it's fun, and you know you can improve next time.

When I log onto Live I usually see if anyone's playing, and if I have time I'll join. Just during the week it's not a guarantee I'll have the time/energy.

He is pretty much how I got into gaming. We had every system growing up and I had to fight him off for my time lol.

As I grew up and computers became to take a much bigger role and computer gaming with Wolf 3d and Doom started to take notice. He started building gaming PC's. He has been doing it ever since, builds around 100-200 PC's a year. So needless to say, I have always had a gaming setup

I have not played expert on Blood Harvest, but read that there are crows in the corn field that if you disturb, they alert the horde. True? If they are in lower levels, I've never seen them. LOL

Also, in the commentary track on No Mercy, they mention that the helicopter pilot was originally intended to be infected when he picks you up. Nothing came of it though. Thought that would have been a cool twist.

Yeah, it really would have.

How have your expert runs been? They seem almost impossible to me when a regular horde does 20 damage a swipe.

I know you're not asking me....but on anything but normal(single player especially) the AI director is ridiculous. Doing well against the mind numbing horde?...send in a Tank.....beat the Tank?....send in one of each of the bosses....
I'm sorry, but it just becomes about finding a place to corner in and holding your finger down on the trigger and using the push button.
My "score"(

) for this game is starting to take a hit......and it's not just the difficulty, but on how it's orchestrated.
I know people believe the AI director is revolutionary...but except for the initial random placement.....IMO it's nothing more than a comeback code on steroids.
Now...if they would have made it so that the AI would adapt and change tactics according to how you play instead of just MORE-MORE-MORE....then we're talking revolutionary:wink:

I guess he hadn't read my statement two pages back, so after a quick pre-cursor stating I knew he wasn't asking me directly....I offered up a reply. I even put in the obligatory "IMO"

I must have missed where you pointed out the people that repeatedly posted "this game rocks" and "this game is sick" ad naseum

I still enjoy the game.......just questioning the whole AI director thing being the greatest thing for gaming....hoping that game companies don't really believe that just putting more-tougher(read impossible)-faster enemies means that it's better and we love it. I think they could do a lot better.

AHHH well that explains why u hate expert now. I play on PC, and the speed I can target zombies is so fast that expert is tough but by no means impossible.

Targeting with a controller is much tougher than mouse/keyboard
