Play it...my brother just played it for the first time yesterday (he wasn't into videogames when I first was playing it) and he is hooked. I sat there watching him play and gave him pointers and such and now I created a new character. Definitely worth a playthrough, just be sure to get Lost Chapters to give you a bit more for your money.

Report: Molyneux says Fable 2 co-op will be available at launch

"According to French gaming site Game Focus, Lionhead CEO Peter Molyneux has denied recent reports that his upcoming role-playing title Fable 2 will not include online co-op at launch. Molyneux batted down the recent news during a keynote at the Festival du Jeu Vidéo (Video Game Festival) in Paris, yesterday. Late last week the Microsoft operated GamerScore Blog announced the "no online co-op" news to gamers, suggesting the mode could be added within a week of launch. Yes. I haven't tried it in a while but before it kept freezing up on my 360 so I use the ole xbox now.

Hmm, i am tempted to go down and pick up Fable. But I am worried about it giving me the 3 red rings of death. Especially with Nba2k9, Fable II and Fallout 3 around the corner. I guess I will just finish up Tales of Vesperia.

I think the RROD is caused mostly by the system overheating, not by games themselves. It may freeze up from time to time, backwards compatibility problems, but I think that the RROD is a separate issue entirely. But I don't blame you a bit for being concerned, especially with all these fine games releasing (btw, your fall list looks exactly like mine)

I'm buying the Limited Edition to jmood,I only bought one other LE game before and that was Oblivion,that's how excited I am about Fable 2. Three weeks!!!

The Hobbe thing wasn't a big deal for me but I'm mad that they took so much out of the Limited Edition. At least they lowered the price though.
