Video: Inside Lionhead 2
With the release of Episode Two, listen to Molyneux and the rest of the Lionhead team tell comical anecdotes about their "real-life" combat encounters and meet an eclectic "sword" master whom the studio hired to demonstrate how "real sword fighting is done." Strangely enough, several members of the Lionhead team own life-size metal weapons, which allowed for daily parking lot meetings and additional comedic relief. To round out their focus on combat, fellow UK developer's Lionhead and Rare played an intense, yet good-natured game of football (soccer), where there was no shortage of fun and/or combat.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Fable 2
This is a great video interview with Peter Molyneux.

Community Update
My previous community update dates back to April 2007, but in the meantime you have seen two Lionhead Video Diaries focusing on the Fable 2 team (Love and Combat), with a third one coming in October. How are the Fable 2 team faring? Pretty good it seems to me. On the game play side for example, secondary motion is being added to the game, so now the hero's weapons start bouncing around and behave more realistically. Children are also being worked on; they will now start mimicking the hero if the hero's famous enough! The game is really starting to come together nicely, but don’t let this fool you, there is still a way to go for everyone involved.
It’s nowhere near finished. Think about that for a second. It is not finished. So yes, the game will look at least a gazillion times better than anything you’ve seen of Fable 2 so far. Anyone doubting that for a split second deserves a kick in the butt. Compared to some other games, Fable 2 is graphically going to be a Masterpiece. We are talking about vast and expansive outdoor locations, with added night and day cycle with realistic lighting effects that dynamically change the environment around you. There will be uber-detailed textures and lighting on up to fifty character models on screen, all of which will cast a dynamic shadow of themselves on that same environment and the same goes for any object in the world. There is a physics engine, a simulation engine and about a thousand years of knowledge of things that I’m not even trying to understand. According to our water-expert Fran “we are going to kick Bioshock’s water!” He gets a little excited sometimes; Italian passion! But the game will look Great.
There is another very big milestone coming up, this one is one of the bigger ones. The whole design team, Peter included, are now practically fleshing out the final bits left and right. This fine-tuning is obviously a slow process and will go on for some time, as it is now an important part of our development process.
Oh and don’t let our Italian developer fool you; Bioshock is amazing.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

New video diary - filmed in November of last year
Get up close and personal with the Lionhead art and design team members, who are hard at work on the Xbox 360 exclusive "Fable 2," the highly-anticipated follow up to the best-selling, Xbox exclusive "Fable." Episode Four introduces gamers to additional personalities at Lionhead: Art Director John McCormack, who "hates England," Senior Programmer Guillaume Portes, who describes himself as the modest and sophisticated Frenchman, Senior Designer Ian Wright, Senior Artist Ian Faichnie and JC Taylor, the "Bug Warlord."
Through this video, viewers can meet the colorful characters responsible for marrying art and design, from the large-scale environments and open world of "Fable 2," to the smallest piece of foliage. Additionally, JC Taylor, explains the studio's "bug blitz" process, where the team at Lionhead focuses on ridding the game of bugs and ensuring it meets to quality levels.
As always, Lionhead keeps it light and fun as they offer gamers a sneak peek into the development of "Fable 2," which is slated for a 2008 release.

Re: Fable 2
It will be online. Monlyneux has hinted about it for over a year.
We suspect there will be online functionality with co-op play. However, because Molyneux kept it under wraps, we should assume that online play will have something extra to it aside from what was shown during the GDC demo. The final major feature of Fable 2 will be revealed at E3 2008. And yes, believe it or not, it looks like Fable 2 will come out this year.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Fable 2
Single console co-op, but somebody asks Monlyneux if it will be online too and he responds by saying, I wish I could tell you the whole story about co-op today.
