That world video is just beautiful. This game has an awsome art design. IMO

Agreed. While the first game wasn't some graphical tour de force, it was so damn visually appealing, because of fantastic art direction. The same looks to hold true for Fable 2, and it also has some of the more impressive lighting and shadowing I've seen on the 360.

I think I'm done. I got all the things I wanted and 250,000 gold in the process. I wonder if this will be patched. Fable 2 is still a couple months out and by that time people will have enough money to buy everything in Albion.


Edit: I didn't want to start Fable 2 with that kind of money, so I'm back down to 20K, which is about what I earned legitimately.

Yeah Flaw, I stopped at 400,000 and reset my character. The game doesn't come out until October and I want this to be the full experience for me. I'm going to earn my money legit.

I will tell ya a little hint in Fortunes Tower, that is if you dont glitch it. I bet the maximum on the highest table I have unlocked and play. As soon as I have a winning hand (Like if I bet 100 and i can win 150) I take it unless there is a good chance for jackpot. I then quit the game and start it again. I have made decent money that way, granted it takes awile since you win about 50 to 100 a game sometimes. I had 12k doing that and expecting more. Also if you see you may not get ya full money back go ahead and cash out, especially at the higher bet lvls. Beter to lose 150 than 400 etc. After you lose do the same thing and quit. Go pay the debt and then rinse and repeat. Granted there are times where ya go through a 8 game streak of losing games, I mean at one point I was i think 3600 in debt but I kept at it and my strategy worked out for me.

I'd like to say I've got a can't wait feeling but big vision on the first Fable fell short. On the other hand it's pretty much the only reason I'm keeping my 360 so I guess that's a pretty big compliment to the game and I've got some faith it'll be a great game.

Your own unique hero

As you know everyone starts in Fable II as either a little boy or a little girl and will grow up to adulthood.

You will change visually to reflect your choices and actions in the world of Albion but it doesn't end there...we now have so much more clothing (think masks, hats, …) all of which can be dyed (in pretty much any color), plus we have make-up, jewelry, hairstyles and facial hair plus all the many different morphs (like strength, fatness, skin color etc...) which will mean that each hero will be very unique. Taking every single thing into account that will influence what you look like, our programmers calculated a number that goes well and truly into the billions.

Pretty sure at this point I'm going to use money from my scholarship change check to buy this game. Fable 2 is my can't miss game of the fall (sorry Gears 2, but I'll have to parlay with the relatives come christmas time).

I hope there's some decent ammount of control over it. Random characters never end up well. I hate playing with characters that aren't,I'll say,stylish. I also don't want to have to restart the game 20 times untill I get a character I like cause I ate a pie wrong or didn't do enough dances or something like that.

Speaking of stuff I don't like,any info on the dog? Like are you forced to have it? Can you just not have it? I know if you have it it can't die,even if it's beaten up it'll follow you so you can't get rid of it if you have it but I don't want it.

Yes you are forced to have it. And through the power of storytelling you will grow to love your dog. If by the mid-point of the game, you still don't love your dog, than you are incapable of love :wink:

It's a story of love, and probably ...wait for it... loss.

Well in that case hopefully the loss part comes quick. I'm sure I won't love the dog. I've rather hated other videogame dogs.

As much as I've tried to overlook it, and as absurd as it may seem, being forced to have the dog travel around with me has totally crushed my enthusiasm for this game.
