    Re: Fable 2

Started putting in some extended playtime with the game yesterday evening and had to make myself stop - it's very addictive, loving it so far. Didn't think I'd be all that big on having to interact with the dog, but I really enjoy it.
HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

If anyone ever see's any solutions or other people with the same issue of not being able to talk to others online....please post it here.
I still haven't figured it out. Don't have an issue with any other online game AND I can chat fine with people and in on case I could talk with cs just fine but that's the only person so far and it only worked once....
Still love the game but it's does take a bit from it when I see friends online and it's a 1 way conversation..
(NAT is open and 360 is in DMZ zone)
      thanks,

Still haven't played by it myself yet but will today. Played it yesterday though in co-op mode with a buddy. Being a henchmen is pretty cool. He was hero and I was evil male, pretty funny combination. lol

          Pretty Cool

Just saw a bunch of bandits and those gremlin looking dudes have an epic battle.

I was shocked by this, I didn't realize enemies would fight one another. Those bandit's save my butt, up till then I was getting swarmed by the gremlin guys.

            Re: Fable 2

My wife and I are starting to get into a little "who can screw with who the most" competition. I'm always up later than her, and she's at home while I'm working...not sure how bad this is going to get.

See, when I was a henchman, I kept scolding her dog just to mess with her (she's a MAJOR animal lover and that irritated the hell out of her). Then when I went to play a character yesterday, I noticed that quite a few people didn't like me. I guess she had run around on my character with my weapon drawn, instilling fear in everybody.

So last night, after she went to bed, I hopped on her profile and character, stripped her naked, and ran her through Oakfield flirting with everybody. I guess I got her some "town whore" achievement or something, I forget what it was....but she called me just now saying that she had a huge markup at all shops and that the town hates her now.

So I'm almost scared to log on at lunch and see how screwed up my toon is...

                If so that's pretty awesome.
Yeah....all the townspeople love me, and overall I'm good (and I do good things). Sometimes I just snap and kill 4 people.

That's what I'm loving about the game....in such Epic games like this usually you can't mix it up, be good and evil easily. You can always undo what you've done with a little effort, and that makes it great.

Man this game is ridiculous, got it last night and have the day off today so I played just about non stop from 11 till 4 in the morning. Then woke up a little while ago and played for another couple hours. I'm having so much fun just working jobs and trying to earn gold so I can buy up all the properties. Got up to level 5 blacksmith and wood chopper and just was able to start playing as the bartender. The story has been pretty good so far and I'm not avoiding it, but right now I'm just much more interested in some of the side quests and making money.

You don't get in trouble, you just evil points. My favorite place to bring people is the cellar in the furniture shop in Bowerstone Markets. Small room and they can't escape. Start charging a spell up and they just start screaming.

So reading through all these impressions have gotten me pumped... I might actually take the plunge with this game.

Seeing as the last RPG I played was way back on the SNES- Super Mario RPG, (which I loved btw) is there a chance I will also like Fable?

In recent years I've spent all my time playing sports games but I think a title I could spend some time with would be great.

                            Thoughts?

I'm still holding out for Fallout 3. But I did watch my buddy play this game on opening day and it looks pretty fun and addictive. I'll be waiting until after christmas if I do indeed pull the trigger on this game.

I was mostly a sports gamer as well but Mass Effect and now Fable II have changed my view on my 360.

Rent it for a few bucks but don't try to fly though it because it's a rental. I guess to each is their own but I can't see a lot of people not liking this game.
