Someone correct me if this isn't right.
That sounds like it would make sense.

Anyways... I'm pissed because I was just about to set a new high score for me on GG&HT, except I seriously f'd up during the last O-B-Y part. I usually can ace those... I even had Overdrive going. I have no idea what happened, but failing a song that long at 96% is very frustrating.

No joke, I would've either A) snapped the guitar in half or B) broken down and wept

I guess I should've changed it to would I have broken the guitar then cried, or just immediately gone straight to crying.

I did break my guitar once because I failed a song. It was Raining Blood on GH3 on Expert... failed it at like 94% and I threw my guitar and it broke the whammy bar lol.

                  Re: Harmonix's Rock Band Discussion

So I went to Best Buy today to buy 21 on Blu, and what do I see there? Two 46" Samsung LCD screens with GH Aerosmith and... guess what?

So I plop down on the seat for the first time with two drumsticks in hand, ready to go. I try Mississippi Queen on medium, and at first I thought that I sucked. Five seconds later, I realized the TV had lag... terrible lag. I go into the options and set it manually. I had to set it at 85 milliseconds... wow.

After that, I started to do well. In fact, medium bored me. I tried Say It Ain't So on expert, and let's just say that I didn't fail. Parts near the end were tough and stressful, but it's weird that I have never played Rock Band in my life, let alone drums.

So I got cocky and tried Here It Goes Again on Expert, and failed within ten seconds. Haha but it was very fun. Then some kids walked up and wanted to try guitar and bass, so we jammed for a few songs, then I decided to go. But wow, this game is awesome!

One thing that was tough was the bass pedal. I don't mean it in the way that it was tough to see, but after a while, my muscle in my shin got pretty worked. Is there a way to "rest" it when you're not using it, aside from taking it off the pedal?

Haha yeah Say It Ain't So is extremly easy. When I first got the game I started a medium tour drums and passed the first tier. THen I tried Say It Ain't So on expert just to see what it was like and I passed the song with ease. I assure you drums are hard as hell. 4 months later, I am stuck about halfway through the hard drum tour.

Rock Band is a great experience. I can't believe how much I like it. I just totally missed the boat on it when it was first released. Too blinded by my GH loyalty.

Your leg gets stronger after playing for a while. When I first decided to get into the drums (I didn't have any interest in them for the first month I had the game) just playing on Medium killed my leg after just a couple of songs. Now I can play at least a few songs on Expert without my leg getting sore.

When playing drums I'd reccommend playing with your heel up, You can get a quicker bass going, and IMO you save alot of energy and strain on your muscle.

Boom, get the Hit Kit made by Block Head. My wife bought them for me and they make a difference. I think the kit costs $17.99 or 19.99.

SO after getting a 93% on GGaHT on expert drums, I decided to see what I could do with the song on hard...

                                99%, 417,517...1026 note streak.

The score and streak are personal highs for me on drums.

Damn I am ****ing tired from that song.
