OK I just got Rock Band and I'm wondering how do you DL songs. I can't find them on PSN and if you're not hooked up online with your PS3 can you DL these songs to your computer, copy it to a CD and install on your PS3 from the CD or do I have to buy a router and directly DL from the site to your PS3?

If this article is legit, it looks like there's going to be a Red Hot Chili Peppers pack on Feb. 18 - "Under the Bridge", "Universally Speaking", and "Otherside".

I don't think you can download add-on content from an Internet browser, you have to go online with the PS3 and do it. If you have high speed internet, you don't have to have a router, as long as you have a TV near your Internet connection, just hook the PS3 straight up to the modem (instead of your cpu) and the PS3 will be online. Then you can go to the store and download stuff.

                  This week's songs:

"Complete Control" by the Clash, "Truth Hits Everybody" by the Police and the Ramones' "Teenage Lobotomy". All three songs are master recordings.

Bleh. Won't be downloading any of these. How about some new bands instead of bands who already have songs in the game?

Wow, what a terrible list of 3 songs.

                      Seriously.

They already released a Police pack (which was a good one)...no need to release yet another Police song that isn't really even that good.

Never was a fan of the Clash or the Ramones...so none of these interest me.

I'll get the Ramones and The Clash songs. I like both of them. Complete Control has a good guitar part.

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band now with Impressions

I read on another message board that the reason we are seeing DLC songs from bands already in the game is because Harmonix made deals with these bands before the game came out, and they're getting their stuff out. Soon, we'll see new bands that were not originally licensed with the game (I hope!).
I'm really hoping for some more 90's stuff (Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Tool, Rage, etc.)

Just listened to the song and I agree, great guitar parts in that song.

Being a fan of The Police, the more of them they release the better.

Man, I'd love to see some more stuff from the last few years. I mean, dont get me wrong, I like some of the older stuff, but how about mixing it up a little. There are so many good bands out they'll never run out of good music to put out, so lets mix it up a little.
