The solo for Screaming for Vengeance the song will probably be worse. Then again, Ride the Lightning and Flirting should prepare us.

Looking forward to Take these chains as well. It won't be hard at all, but should be fun to play.

I got my Nyko Frontman guitar today that is compatible with the PS3's Rock Band and Guitar Hero! Finally! The strum bar on it is just like the PS2 GH ones, bye bye Rock Band guitar! It's like a brand new game with this guitar.

Glad to hear a positive report on it. I've been considering getting one.

That sounds cool. I need to replace my Les Paul at Best Buy this weekend, buying one and making a switch for the return.

yeah, I'm gonna see how it holds up. If it seems to be made well and doesn't break, my Rock Band guitar might end up on ebay and I'll buy another one of these.

You got GH for the PS3? I thought you had the 360 version?

Well I bit the bullet and bought RB.

Gotta say I've been addicted. I wish their was a little more of a challenge when it comes to playing the guitar but the addition of being able to play the drums is alot of fun as well

No, I only have the 360 version. Is the Les Paul not yet available in stores for the 360 as a stand alone?

It's available in stores, but it's wireless only, the one you have from the box has a wire.

Not sure if Best Buy would notice that or not, but I wouldn't take the chance IMO.

I am using the Black Les Paul from GHIII for both GHIII and Rock Band. I sold the Fender which came with RB a week after I bought RB because I didn't care for the guitar. I guess I should have been more clear, confused a bunch of you guys, sorry.

I understood you, candy... I didn't understand EG. If the Les Paul is wired... then I don't know what I got, cause mine is wireless.

Ok, cool. I thought I may have caused confusion.

I found out on engadget that there is a way to fix the issue, if anyone else is having this problem too.

We're not exactly sure if this problem is widespread, but for those currently dealing with malfunctioning frets on the new Guitar Hero III Les Paul, you should certainly give this a once over. An incredibly industrious gamer went out of his way to show us all what a few rubber bands and a 3M Utility Hook can do to solve your Guitar Hero blues, and if you haven't already slammed your axe into the floor, lit it on fire, or ceremoniously bludgeoned your Xbox 360 in frustration, there's hope for you still. This low-fi fix reportedly holds the connector plate in the neck and the pins in the body together more securely, enabling users to resume shredding sans trouble. Granted, this may not cure every single faulty axe out there, but it's certainly worth a try. Go on, roll up your sleeves and hit the read link for an (immensely easy) walkthrough.
