Re: Harmonix's Rock Band now with Impressions
Speaking of Breaking Benjamin, I would love to have at least one of their songs on the game. Not really sure which one, but any of them. They're one of my favorite bands.Comment

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band now with Impressions
I probably will as well, I'm just pissed that, out of all of them from the new CD, they put this one in.
I would've rather had "Fame > Infamy"
As for the other two...no way am I getting the YYY, but I may download the AvA one sooner or later. Again, there were better choices ("A Little's Enough" would've been my choice).Comment

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band now with Impressions
To each their own, but they have some classic bands contributing tracks up until this point, and with an impressive variety. NIN, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Oasis, STP, Judas Priest, At the Gates, Boston...I mean, they can't please everybody, but don't put it as if they've only got pop, or obscure crap. They've run the gamut so far, and if they keep up the way they have, eventually they will cover most people's preference.Comment

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band now with Impressions
For the next four weeks, a select number of Rock Band tracks will be available for download at half price on Xbox Live.
According to Xbox Live's Major Nelson, MTV Games, Harmonix and McDonalds will be running a promotion through June 2 that will make eight Rock Band tracks 80 MS points rather than the typical 160.
Here's the discount schedule:
5/6/08-5/12/08:
Crushcrushcrush - Paramore
Rock 'n Roll Band - Boston
5/13/08-5/19/08:
Shockwave - Black Tide
Sugar Magnolia - Grateful Dead
5/20/08-5/26/08:
We Care A Lot - Faith No More
All the Small Things - Blink 182
5/27/08-6/2/08:
Gimme Three Steps - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Dirty Little Secret - All-American Rejects
The only one of these I've bought is Sugar Magnolia (the wife wanted it).Comment

Re: Harmonix's Rock Band now with Impressions
I gotta say, Rock Band has some long term playability. Most games i either beat or am done with after a few weeks or so (minus sports games). But playing RB with the fiancee is something we can do for fun, to blow off some steam, or just screw around with. What makes ti nice is its something she will participate in.......actually i think she likes it more than i do.Check out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.
You too can be a 5* recruit at FSU.......
