So two songs they're asking people to buy again on top of the one before and one is an instrumental that was already in GH 2 but people are fine with this/actually going to buy it? Isn't that like...having to buy a team again in Madden because the blue on their jersery is slighty off and they put new ones up for download for $2? People would be demanding their head if they did that.

What guitar do you guys use? I know everyone hates the RB guitar, but I still use the Explorer (wired) guitar from GH II. Is the Les Paul better?

Horrible analogy.

First off, the master of Tom Sawyer and Limelight are going to be far superior to the covers. Easily worth buying again, especially Limelight (which I held out for in hopes of getting a master)

Secondly, just because it was on GH2 doesn't mean anything. We've got a ton of songs that were on GH1, GH2, and GH80s that are making a return on GH2.

You're adding instruments so I don't see how it's the same thing.

I was using my Xplorer (wired) guitar until recently when I bought the Les Paul (wireless).

I love the feel of the Les Paul so much and the strum bar is pure gold but the overdrive activation pisses me off to no end. I'm sure it's how I hold the guitar but it will go off when I don't need it to, or not go off when I'm trying to save myself from failing.

I guess I just have to work on how I hold it because the rest of the guitar is too good to not play it.

I like the RB guitar for bass. The GH3 guitar for guitar, I don't have the GH3 guitar though. So I end up using my GH2 guitar, which is a little beat up.

I use the X-plorer, which is my favorite out of all of the available guitars. I do like the solo buttons on the RB guitar, and when you get used to the strum bar, the advantage is that you don't have to hold it to keep it from bouncing around when doing alternate notes.

Broke my bass pedal today trying to beat Run to the Hills. Happened during the guitar solo, where it seems to go twice the speed with an extra bass pedal.

I probably won't bother sending it to get repaired. I won't end up taking Rock Band to college with me, so I'll wait to buy either the new RB2 drums or the Guitar Hero drums.

Of course you don't have to buy it,my point is they shouldn't be selling it. Would've been better off releasing Fly by Night,Permenant Waves and if they're going to include instrumentals 2112 too. Should make for some intresting sales numbers at least.

I use the RB guitar because it's all I've got on 360.

I use the X-plorer. I have a Les Paul, but it has a flaky strum bar that double registers from time to time. The first Les Paul I had, the downstrum completely stopped working.

The reason I like the X-plorer is purely because of the reliability. The Les Paul is pretty sweet, but that doesn't matter if the strumming is shaky.

Thanks for the replys guys. I guess I'll stick with my explorer. I was thinking maybe the Les Paul would be an upgrade, but sounds like it's not.
